I received a call about an account from 2012. I was told I was being sued for a $9,000 on an account that had a balance of a couple hundred dollars is what I was being told. I spoke to a guy named Kevin he wouldn’t give last name. I asked for what company he only told me Kauffman he didn’t want to spell out the company name. He asked if I didn’t know how to spell. I asked if it was just Kaufman and he told me I could put associates if I wanted. When asked whom the debt was from he told me vivant and that’s all he would say. He told me I was being sued and hung up on me. I called back and was hung up on immediately. I called a few more times and someone else answered and wouldn’t send me to a supervisor but back to Kevin. When Kevin answers the phone he started threatening me by saying he was going to start calling all my family members non stop. He then called me a dirtbag that doesn’t pay his bills along with a few other choice words. I looked up the company and can not find it on any search. The first phone number that called me is 806-224-2399. The phone number I was instructed to call where I encountered Kevin is 844-700-1165.

stated they had paperwork to serve on daughter, called back stated they were a attorney office Kauffman and Associates, at the call back number 844-700-1165, stated a civil suit was filed . I requested information, docket number ,and who brought on the civil suit Person at office refused his name and well as the rest of the information. I stated I could have my attorney call. The response was we only give information to other attorneys. and to contact the courts

Called me at my work today, from 573-683-9451. Told me that they had papers that needed to be served to me in the next hour. Gave me the 844-700-1165 number, I called that number, they said they were Kauffman and Associates, i was being served papers for fraud from a Navy account. I contacted my local sheriff's department, they have no paperwork or anything. When I googled the 9451 it was to the Southeast Correctional Center

They said they were a process server and I needed to contact them so they can deliver some papers and an adult has to be home. Also said something about sending someone to the address attached to my phone number! They used a name and nobody here lives with that name or even associated with my number!

This company has been contacting me for 2 weeks gave me a case number and it's looking to file a motion and gets me next week but yet they can't give me any information

Also said they were a process server and I needed to contact them or they were coming to arrest me. Internal case number given and a process server will be delivering paper work to the address attached to my phone number. Thinking this is a scam, case number that was given stated as being 20224, I work for the courts and case numbers always start with CRA,CRB,CV,DV etc then the two diget year and then the case number.

stated they were a process server and only an hour to contact for more information- was given an internal case number and stated I was summoned for a legal matter. Not sure if legitimate.
