The perpetrator posted in our neighborhood Facebook page about duct cleaning services he could provide us for $199 or $299. The assumption was that he was legitimate because he was in the group. He nearly harassed everyone until they agreed or blocked him. That wasn't my experience until he sent his "employee" to do the work. His name is allegedly Joel Enrique, and his cell number is 713-922-6184. He arrived at my home at 2:30pm on December 4. 2022. After a few minutes of looking at my air ducts, he claimed I had mold. I went to the room where the air conditioning unit and everything else is and had him take pictures in real-time. Once I saw them, I believed it was mold and agreed to the service. Admittedly, the guy was a bit aggressive in insisting that I needed this service. I was quoted a price of $588, which was eventually sent to him via Zelle. I probably should have backed out but I I believed he was legitimate due to Facebook. It wasn't until I chatted with my neighbors that I realized I had been scammed. Thankfully, the money didn't bankrupt me, but I am furious that this business is a fraud and is taking advantage people! This is ridiculous. It is also potentially dangerous.
