They scammed my grandma out of $700 by asking for a money order to adopt a ship tzu then tried to get an additional $1500 out of her by threatening her with a lawsuit for animal abandonment. The local police had to intervene.

This is a malicious scam targeting older people and must be stopped

I should have known better,I knew that it was too good to be true. As soon as I paid the $700 for what I taught it was for the puppy and they texted me and said that they made a mistake with the website I knew it was a scam. also the website was taken down.I was also given the story about having to change the crate because of the weather and how to send the money, a flag went up that have been scammed.

They posed as a family trying to give away two corgis since they moved and could not keep them. They stated they were now located in wyoming, so they would give us the pups for free since they were just looking for a good home and all we would have to do is pay the transport cost. This all seemed rather suspicious from the start but when the "transportation company" sent us an email, it was obviously fake.

We purchased two puppies at the cost of $700 each ($1400 total) from a breeder website of michaelschnauzerpups.com. The breeder wanted his payment in the form of zelle and gave us one gmail account for the payment. We informed him that been would not be able to pay until payday. He stated we should email him when we were ready and he would give us new payment details. We made the payment accidentally with cash app instead of zelle. The breeder got upset and insisted that the payment be made via zelle. We cancelled the cash app payment then were given another (3rd) different email address for the zelle payment. When we could not get the zelle payment through he insisted upon American Express gift cards for payment. We got those for him and text pictures of them to him. He then processed the registration AKC paperwork the next day and arranged for shipping with Christian Pet Shippers. We received two emails from the shippers. One with a tracking number for our puppies and one stating that due to inclement weather the puppies would need to be transferred to a thermal temperature regulated crate from the ventilated crate they were in, however, the cost for the crate varied in cost from $1500 to $2000. They recommended the $1500 crate. We informed the breeder of this and we told him we could not afford this charge. We were told ALL shipping costs were paid for in the price of the puppies. After negotiating with the breeder and his begging in behalf of the puppies he agreed to pay $500 for the crate and we pay $1000. We told him we could not afford that. He eventually agreed to pay $100 and we're told we had to pay $500. Saturday night passed and we got a text stating the puppies were already at our airport that they needed the $500 payment to deliver the puppies to us. We went and got the $500 American Express gift cards and sent those to the shippers. . We were then informed no it was $500 per puppy that we needed to send another $500. We were threatened about puppy abandonment and pet cruelty if we did not pay. We paid the $500 via once again American Express gift cards and told the puppies would be delivered within 2 hours. 2 hours turned into 3 then 4 and more and still no puppies or acknowledgement from the shippers. Finally Monday morning they said we would now have to pay another $350 per puppy for processing the refund. We got the $700 gift cards sent to them and they said puppies will be delivered by 1145 am. At 1135 am another text and email came through stating the puppies needed vaccines and city permits before being delivered at a cost of $600 for the vaccines and $300 for the permits. We told them no more money and once again threats of pet abandonment fines and pet cruelty arrests would be coming if we did not fulfill our end of the deal. At this point we told them do what you have to do we will do what we have to do and contacted our police department. They informed us of the Scam and said do not send any more money. We did not send any more but kept on receiving the threats. Avoid this SCAM! These two companies are in cahoots and know what they are doing.

Hello,
I am posting in hopes that someone will read this & NOT GET SCAMMED!
I already wrote on William Dachshunds scampulse.com as they are part of the SAME SCAM!
Before I quick paid the $ I googled everything I could on Willam Dachshunds & nothing came up.
Our story~

•My husband & I purchased 2 dachshunds from William Dachshunds for 1400.
The next part of the scam included Christian Pet Shippers & they contacted us needing the special ‘thermal’ crate for 1500. I said I have to talk to the breeder (William Dachshunds) & since they are ALL working together on the SCAM they know exactly what to say. I was told they delivered the puppies to the airport & used ‘their’ shipping crate, saying they know the shippers & have worked with them for years & trust their judgment, adding those thermal crates are expensive & to make sure I get my money back. We got emails & text messages saying: due to the breed & inclement weather they couldn’t use the crate the breeder had delivered them in.
Of course they know how to pull at your heart strings & tap into your empathy.
Next: supposedly the puppies were held up in Atlanta, GA due to needing pet insurance at a cost of 2000. as they: couldn’t guarantee the health or safe flight of the puppies. Hmm- we should have remembered that supposedly the flight was a direct flight, no reason to be in GA. Christian Pet Shippers kept emailing, calling & texting that the puppies would be held in GA until the 2000. Insurance was paid. At this point we knew it was a SCAM but played them along as I wanted to contact the police & show them I was still communicating with the SCAMMERS. I told them (the SCAMMERS) I was going to the bank trying to get the $, etc. playing them along. I did go to the police right away. I had a great detective who took ALL the information on the SCAMMERS. I’m hoping the bank will help with the loss but probably not as they said: I sent the money, which I did. I’m still contacting the FRAUD division of my bank.
So we are out 2900.
There are no puppies, never were, no breeder, never was, no thermal crate, never was. Unfortunately their FAKE websites are VERY BELIEVABLE. I was given a tracking number & when I ‘pushed that button’ on the website it gave me dates, times & where the puppies were going & that they were held up in GA ‘pending insurance payment’. Then I got the text messages that since the puppies were being held we needed to get them VIP treatment (in GA) costing 500. We were on to their SCHEME by now & i wrote: since we were told the thermal crate had food, water & room for the puppies to potty they should be fine. They didn’t like that answer & said: are you’re going to leave your puppies in that crate, how could you?”
So finally I wrote we’re into this for 2900.
& we can’t pay anymore. They still text & said: what about 500. now & the rest when the puppies are delivered?
They also suggested i to go to CVS or some other place that sells AmEx gift cards & buy those in the amount of 500. each for 2,000.
The last text said: since you won’t pay for insurance the puppies will be placed in quarantine & we will be sued for animal abandonment.
I wanted to blast them with: we know you are SCAMMERS, I’ve contacted the authorities & they are investigating this SCAM we hope you are caught & prosecuted! The detective told me not to,
as they ARE investigating!
Long story short - BEWARE!
We paid 1400. for fake dogs
& 1500. for a fake crate

Mom is on the phone right now with the very same people- Christian pet shippers trying to ship two Aussie doodles from Wyoming. They are asking for zelle pay. They are trying to scam my poor mother that just lost two pets recently to a tragedy. Phone number they called by: +1 (512) 734-8538. I’m glad I searched here before my mom paid them although they have all her info.

I was trying to buy from the same people. The Aussie doodle I was supposedly buying is called Janny. Glad I looked them up, my bank agreed to give me the $300 I paid them as clearly this was a scam. So sad that people are evil.

What are the aussiedoodles names and the person who was selling them? I’ve been in contact with someone all day about sending me a black female aussiedoodle named janny, after doing my research on the shipping company nothing came up except for this.

Well almost the same except I decide to check this site before sending the money. I am sorry the people above lost money but that you for reporting it. You saved me a lot of money and headache and heart ache.
Craigslist picture, asked about me agreed to send me the puppy for nothing and sent me the Christian Pet Shipper information.

Same thing JUST happened to me. Found a puppy online. Obviously there was never a puppy. Once I payed 400 for the “plane ticket”, he talked about needing a new crate. We didn’t pay for the crate but now he saying we’re going to get charged with animal abandonment charges. We’re out 400. The company is fake as hell. The number on the website doesn’t work. The “reviews” are not real. I feel like an [censored] but oh well. Karma is a bi**h. This guys going to get his BIG.

Thats wild I fell for the same thing but this is what happened to me. I thought I bought a puppy from willimans dachshunds I looked them up to see if their website came up on anything, which they didn't. So I went ahead and paid them 700. Through email they got a little short so I thought that was weird. But then they connected me with the Christianpet shippers and they called me saying the same thing. they gave me 3 options on for 2000, 1500, or a 1000. I said absolutely not. The people I thought I got the dog with said that was handled so I googled the shippers and sure enough here we are. I entertained the conversation a little longer and I had to txt them because I really could not hear them on the phone. Eventually they txted me sorry I can't hear you. I was like I am aware because we are not talking lol. I know some people were not able to get their money back but I was fortunate enough that my bank worked with me. People are evil like bro all I want is a puppy. But yea Karma is gonna get them. I also wanna know how much money they got scamming people and how many people where effected by this. But if it wasn't for the shippers and common sense I would have been got. all know is I was so hurt.

This company is a rip off. They are working with Williams Dachshund. Williams sells puppies and supposedly ships with Christian pet shippers. Guess what dog never ships and neither one returns calls.

Facts, same thing happened to me. I was so excited too. I made sure I googled them and they didn't pop up on any scam websites, I thought they were legit. However when I was connected with the shippers it was your post that I found. I was fortunate to get my money back. However I caught them slipping in messages. I hope you were able to find a new friend, Its so hard now a days because there are so many evil people out there.

I was buying a dog and the breeder used Christianpet Shippers. I was notified by the shipper that I needed to use one of their crates as the one the breeder used was not good. This crate was $1500 and wanted to be paid using Zelle and 99% of money would be given back to me in cash once I received the dog. They refused to use any other form of payment. I contacted my bank and was told their email address was a scam. I offered to give them $100 for rental but they refused.

They posted a Craigslist ad for a puppy, I emailed them and they sent back that they would have to delivery the puppy due to being in Wyoming. They told me it would be 300$ and the shipping company would contact me with payment, the shipping company contacted me and I paid the 300$ through Zelle. 30 minutes later they emailed + called, convincing me that my puppy needed a “Thermal Electronic Crate”, it would cost upwards of 1000$, but I would receive a refund once the puppy was shipped. They tried to get me to use cash app, but I couldn’t send that much money through there so they told me to go to Walgreens and buy gift cards. The next day they sent me another email + call, saying that the puppy needed insurance to be delivered. If I did not pay the 1000 for insurance or the 1000 for the crate, my puppy would be sent to “pet quarantine zone”, where I would be charged with “Animal Abandonment”.
