A man called me from a 547 number claiming that I owe 3,000 from a payday loan for I never borrowed back in 2009 They threatened to subpoena me to court. The courthouses are not even all the way open yet even the landlords can't even file an evictions yet so how in the hell can they file a subpoena? These are scammers

I just received a call from Clearview Mediation I answered and asked what this was all about. They put me on hold and the woman came back and said that I owed for a medical bill from a few years ago. She had my last 4 numbers of my SS. I told her that is was impossible because I haven't had any medical procedures done in the last 10 years and if I had, my company paid 100% of my medical coverage. She said she's not here to dispute anything and the hung up. I was pissed so I called back a young man answered and he knew who I was and proceeded with the same line of talk as the first person. I told him he should be ashamed that he's trying to scam people out of money especially during this time and how he was ok with doing what he's and selling his soul for $10/hr. He said we'll see you in court and hung up. True to my form, I called back because now I was seeing red. Another man got on and said is this Barbara, so I went in on him about knowing this is a scam and he said he was going to call the officials on me because I was threatening a federal person. I said I wait on the phone to talk to the authorities and he then hung up. Don't every fall for anyone calling about you owing money you no nothing about. True, legitimate folks don't agencies don't act this way. The courts are barely open and if they are they are not concerning themselves with these type things. I don't think they'll be call me back, so glad I messed with them a little bit, made my day. The number they used was 1-434-256-1116. Beware folks don't fall this crap, some people will do anything for money.

CLEARVIEW MEDIATION TOLD ME I OWED A DEBT FROM 2002 FROM A VISA CARD, WHICH I NEVER HAD A VISA CARD! THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE ME TO COURT & WHILE BEING ON THE PHONE WITH THEM, THEY WERE GOING TO TRANSFER, ME OVER TO THE PROSECUTOR (WHOM WAS OUT OF NEW JERSEY),,THE AMOUNT THEY WERE REQUESTING WAS $9726! MY HUSBAND CALLED THEM BACK & STARTED ASKING QUESTIONS & THEY TOLD HIM TO "SOBER UP" THEN HUNG UP IN HIS FACE! AFTER TRYING TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN,,,THEY WOULD NOT ANSWER. SO I CALLED FROM A DIFFERENT PHONE & TOLD THEM THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE,,,ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW DURING THIS COVID-19! SO ANOTHER LADY CALLED BACK & SAID SHE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SHE WAS GETTING MESSAGES FROM THIS NUMBER! I ASKED (IS THIS NOT CLEARVIEW MEDIATION?) SHE SAID (NO THIS IS CULINARY SCHOOL IN CHICAGO). I LOOKED UP CLEARVIEW MEDIATION & THEY HAVE SCARED SO MANY PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY USING (YOU ARE BEING SUED,,& YOU WILL BE IN COURT)! THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE STOPPED!!

I GOT A SECOND CALL TODAY FROM A MAN AT CLEARVIEW. I TOLD HIM THAT A WOMAN HAD CALLED ON THE 17th AND I BEGAN TO ASK QUESTIONS THAT I HAD PREVIOUSLY ASKED THE WOMAN. HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION AND SAID THEY WOULD BE SERVING ME WITH COURT PAPERS.

I've been contacted by this company a few times now. Representatives "Jason" & "Christina" referred to me by my former married name & immediately start bullying me telling me I owe $1300 to some bank I've never heard. The only information they would give me is it's from 2002 & the name of this "bank". The first time I talked to "jason" he tells me I'm being taken to court for money I owe to a bank. I asked him what was this about becausehe didn't seem to have his ****  together (alot of "umms" & "uhs") & he says "hold on one second" & never came back. "Christina" was the 2nd person I talked to today. Immediately starts chewing on me telling me "you went into this bank & took out a loan". I started asking questions & she won't answer them or give me any details & says she's submitting the paperwork to have me summoned for court because I refuse to cooperate & hangs upon me! WTH just happened here?!

I IMMEDIATELY call her back & "jason" answers the phone (yay), I tell him what just happened & his response is "looks like she started the process to take this to court". I asked to speak to a manager, he replies with " yea, when people like you ask to speak to a manager, you really need a defense attorney" & hangs up on me.

I am FURIOUS.

The final call ends with "Michelle" who seems very polite & understanding & surprised at her colleagues actions towards me.

She has all the right info last 4 of us, old address, old name, etc.

I told her I have been on unpaid leave by my employer due to COVID, I live in TX so it's almost impossible to get unemployment started, now these guys want to take me to court over an 18yr old "debt"?!

I was given the option of setting today for $648.86 or mo pymts totally the $1300 or go to court for the full amount that includes penalties & interest. To which I would be subpoenaed & hauled into court.

This offer had a 2hr time limit. She would email me all of the paperwork for me to sign but I had to do it immediately & if I didn't respond then "the process" would start.

A lot of what I was told & what they wanted

is almost exactly like another complaint filed here by a woman in March.

Shameful practices.

I just recieved a call from This "firm" saying that I owe $3500.00 from a credit card that was taken out before I even turned 18. Amanda St. Clair would not give the prosector that was "taking me to court on June 15th". They had my full social and address. Amanda St. Clair stated that the credit card company was in the process of puttig a lien on my propetry (credit card companies do not do this). I hope people really do not fall for this stuff.

They called me and said I was being sued by an attorney for a alleged debt from a loan company - 2010.
I said I had no idea what she was talking about. I began to ask her questions as to who was the attorney,
Was he listened to practice in Texas and had they paid a $100,000 bond required in Texas. She would not answer and told me she knew her job and hung up when I told her my son was listening in. This call was about 2 weeks ago
And they did not respond to my better business complaint. I strongly advise anyone they have called to do a BBB. Complaint.

I got a call today from Amanda St Clair at Clear view, they had my full social security number, maiden name, and even the company name I worked for in 2009 and said I was being sued for a delinquent pay day loan. They told me the loan was from a company called Iadvance, the account was opened up on 11/16/2009, and became delinquent on 04/30/2010 for the amount of 293.00. I asked why has it taken so long to notify me, she said she wasnt sure. I asked her why is wasnt showing up on my credit report, she said it was because people who are delinquent on things like to file bankruptcy to avoid paying their debts, so they had it taken off the credit report. She said after all of the penalties and late fees, and interest, the amount I owed was 2750.00 and that I was scheduled to be in court on June 15th. She said that they would settle out of court with me for 350.00. At first I was nervous and thought it was real, but after the entire phone conversation, things just didnt seem to add up, and I believe it was a scam.

Just received a call from these people. I asked for spelling of their company name, and they told me they didn't have to provide that to me. Accused me of having an unpaid payday loan from 2011, I told them I had no idea what they were speaking of and I would need documentation sent over. They told me they would see me in court, I told them to come on, I couldn't wait and I would bring snacks for the trip.

I received a call on 03/30/2020, from (254) 212-4938 (TX) saying they were Clearview Mediation in regards to a lawsuit that has been filed in my name. I asked for their name, address, and phone number and all she (Megan) would say is that they are a mediation company and that she needed to verify my identification by confirming the last four digits of my SS#. I stated that they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Act (FDCPA) by asking for that information. So, I asked for their contact information again, she refused. I asked who the Lawyers office was, she stated Steven Klien (not sure on spelling), and said it was from a very old Pay Day Loan I had paid off years ago (2012). I asked them to send me the information and they told me they could email it to me. I became suspicious when they stated they would not mail it. Megan then tried transferring me to "the lawyer" but when she did I was on hold forever, it seems, and then they hung up on me. I quickly received a call back from (833)-561-7812 and this very rude woman was threating me with a subpoena and going to court even after I told her that I was currently unemployed because of the pandemic, she rudely said see you in court and hung up on me.

We were recently scammed out of $618.58 over the phone by a representative ((833)-561-7812) from Clearview Mediation 3/12/20. They had my former name and the last four digits of my social security by which they threatened my arrest, my credit, and higher charges of over $1,300.00 if I did not pay a supposed debt from 2009 off immediately and sign paperwork. I was worried about losing my job over it, so I gave into their demands and paid by debit card over the phone then signed the document they emailed over. The debt was illegitimate and I have two forms of evidence showing that I paid all debt off to that bank on 7/7/12. The account number Clearview Mediation gave didn't even match the one I had with said bank. In addition, the ScamPulse.com lists Clearview Mediation having only been open since 1/23/2020. Please, if you ever get scammed like this contact your local authorities (in a non-emergency way) and whomever you bank though so it's harder for scam artists like these to harm others. Debt collectors are not allowed to threaten you over the phone like this.

I received a call from a company saying they were Clearview Mediation. The first lady I spoke with said the correct last 4 of my social security number & askex me to confirm to verify my identity. When I asked how she got that information & who they were she became hostile & said they investigated me & I was being sued. I said there are privacy laws who are you & how did you get that information. She stated she has my whole social security number & that she had my mother's, grandmother's ,& great grandmother's also. I said how & she hung up. I called back & spoke with another guy. I said I had a complaint & repeated the first call & said who are you & what do you guys want. He stated I listened to you now I'm transferring you to my supervisor & put me on hold for 5 minutes & hung up. I called back again & eventually got to a supervisor. He instantly started talking in a condensing tone & going on & on about he got information from a company & was suing me. Said he didn't expect me to pay it & he only had to verify he contacted me. That he he send it to the judge & they win 95% of their cases & did I have any other questions. I said yes what is this about & what do y'all want. He started belittling me said he already stated he got my account from a company that was suing me & did he need to play it back I said what company is suing me what account he said Payday I was suing me from an unpaid payday advance in 2009. I said payday what? He stated Payday Advance l. I said let me write this down how do you spell it. He started calling me names said I'm done I'm hanging up, are you slow, you must be slow you're stupid. I told him I was going to report them & hung up. I have never went to a Payday Advance place.
