My browser was hi-jacked by a red screen telling me I had a virus and needed to contact Microsoft windows tech immediately. I called the number on the screen and spoke with an Indian (dot not feather) whose name was "Kaushal". He said someone was trying to hack into my computer and helped me clear everything out. He had me put in links to different executions. I later realized this was a scam. He invited me to pay $200 to clean up my computer. I did not give him money but am still concerned what may have been downloaded onto my computer.

Browsing the web when suddenly a very red window covers my entire screen with written warnings that if I touch any key I will permanently destroy or corrupt my files as a loud voice keeps telling me this message is from Microsoft and that I have to call the number on the screen to fix it all.
