April Adams said I had 12 getaway weeks thru Interval and Marriot time shares that I could rent out through GMS corporate rentals (they said are part of Interval) as they were in high demand for 1600 to 1800 a week. Wanted to send contract but needed my credit card in advance to charge 390 a week (about 4900) to pay for admin etc. expenses. I would be paid within 3 days of each rental closing. She was very professional and had all the answers without hesitating. Everything was explained, even after I questioned things several times. I am smarter than this and I am ashamed I fell for it. I agreed to 5 weeks at $399 per and they charged my credit card for $1995. I heard all about timeshares keep raising maintenance fees, etc. This is all legal. These people need to be stopped.

I called Interval and they said it was a known scam and Getaway weeks are purchased not accumulated or awarded so I would not have “banked” unused weeks. In examining their website it is a staged site with incorrect information about the time shares posted. There home office in Wyoming does not exist. Calls came out of Florida.
