HBA Deepdale Logistics Reports & Reviews (8)

The same fraud experience with HBT Deepdale logistics. Lost £6,000. Expensive lesson. Please be aware. Never ever accept pay anything in advance or buy a car without verified company. Same seller Colin John Richards. Please be aware. They’re very organised and no exactly what they’re doing.

Guys DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OR SEND MONEY to either HBA or HBT Deepdale logistics in Hull it is a complete scam! The whole website is a fake and the company does not exist! Unfortunately I have fallen victim of fraud as I fell for their [censored] and paid £17.500 which I will never see again! I’m absolutely gutted but have learnt a very very expensive lesson. I also sent my passport copy so chances are they will try and pretend to use me as a “seller” so do not fall for anything in general and look out if the seller of vehicle is named “Ranjit Kaur”. I will live in regret forever so please don’t make the same mistake as me!

Do you informed the police ?

Just found this site as the Deepdale Logistics link was made for me. I gave my phone number, email address and physical address for correspondence, but as soon as it was made clear that my money would be needed in advance to go to escrow, it was over. Or so I think? Has anyone had any issues with this after having shared their basic personal information? I am now worried. Thanks in advance.

I responded to a used vehicle ad for sale on AutoTrader.ca. The seller contacted me by text and email and we began the process of negotiations. He advised me that I could not go and look at the vehicle because he was leaving the country to travel with a Covid 19 Research Team to the UK. He informed me the vehicle was in Halifax NS and he was flying out immediately. The vehicle was being stored with a logistics company that would organize the sale of the vehicle for him. He claimed the logistics company would bring the vehicle directly to me and then give me 5 days to test it out before committing/finalizing the sale. I gave this person my telephone number and physical address. I was then contacted by the logistics company claiming to be based in the UK with satellite offices in many countries. Including one in Halifax, NS. I was leery. He gave me the VIN number for the vehicle but said he did not have a Carfax report. I searched the VIN using free internet based tools and received some conflicting information from a number of websites. The year and make were right but the engine size and fuel required were conflicted between Carfax and Auto Check. During the course of researching both the Seller and the third party logistics company, I became aware of similar scams being reported in the Ottawa Citizen and The Hamilton Spectator. I then proceeded to the ScamPulse.com website and read everything I could find about other reported frauds of this nature. I have already reported the Ad with AutoTrader.

Right now I am still stringing this person along by email correspondence, in an attempt to gather more information about both this individual and the company perpetrating this fraud. We will be contacting our local police force and also filing a report with the Canadian Anti Fraud Centre and Cybercrimes Unit. The individual that started the Sales process with me was Mark E. Wagschal with an email address of [email protected] and a phone number of 289-271-****. The business associated here is HBA Deepdale Logistics based in the UK. I was contacted using this email address for the company... [email protected]. The emails received contained multiple links to company registration information, certifications, customer testimonials, business licences, associated websites and news release articles. I will update the ScamPulse.com if I can obtain any additional information.

I have the exact same issue. Colin wood is in halifax and he is leaving the country to travel with a Covid 19 Research Team to the UK. He is trying to sell me a Used 2019 mazda 3 GT, and said that he has a contract with HBT Deepdale Logistics, At first it seemed to be legit because he sent me the carfax report and had all the information ready, however I just didn't feel comfortable giving any money.
