The scammer contacted me via Facebook messenger by calling me. We spoke couple of times and then switched to Skype. He claimed to be widower and had a son. He traveled to work on an oil rig in Aegean Sea and we were sii up poised to meet in 2 weeks. We chatted and spoke frequently as the romance developed. He introduced me to a secret money making business he was involved in, and of course it was investing in crypto forex exchange. As I added money the account grew. He said his dream was to see me become a millionaire. The website was fake and manipulated all to make it look like my account was growing. So then he suggested I should start enjoying my earnings and start withdrawing. The fee to withdraw $200k was $75k. By this time I was in a loop where I was trying to get my money out and praying it was not a scam. I had put all my money and started taking out personal loans. It was nightmare trap and spiraled… His planned visits never happened. This lasted 8 months and destroyed me financially. I’m in debt and my credit is destroyed. I pray every day that I can find a glimmer of hope to get up and make sure I take care of and continue to raise my young boys.
