A message came up on my computer while I was using it. The message said call Microsoft gave me a # to call. I didn’t write it down at the time. My computer locked up on me. I could hear a message telling me to call The #. Message said someone had hacked my computer, I had a virus or worse. I tried to resist my computer, I shut it down, turned back on, but I couldn’t do anything. I finally called the #, after giving them the access to my computer, they said there were virus on my computer, which could get access to all my personal info. They said my Microsoft was out dated and needed to be renewed. I’m not computer savvy so they knew what to say to make me believe it. I got their site to pay for my renewal, I got a 3 year plan to be covered and for everything, tech support 24/7. I put the amount in, put transfer, the screen Messed up. The tech said no worries, he would bring the screen up again, we did it again, and it went through.
