I actually paid this one $169 to clear viruses or trogans on my computer and protect firewall and install google chrome. although listed as a scammer, i had a problem and they did fix it. Told me not to buy my antivirus plan, don't need it.

I was reading news online as i do each morning. all of a sudden my computer locked up and a message came on screen saying i had a virus, call this number immediately 1-844-414-9219 do not turn off your computer. I tried to shut down my system but i could not. So i called the number and spoke to a person with and accent named peter ray. He immediately took control of my computer which would not respond to any of my commands. Several screens started popping up, He gave me a list of things he had to do to get my computer working again. 1. resolve application failure 2. resolve windows failure 3. resolve miscellanious failure 4. clean up browsers and unlock navigation to network 5. tune up software 6. secure and restore the personal data. He then was going to activate and install firewall security protection. He required a one time fee of $650 to get my computer and personal data back, which is also suppose to give me a lifetime security protection. I paid the amount via credit card and after about an hour and half i got my computer back. I told my wife of the situation because i used her credit card, she said that it was a scam and that i used her card without her permission. She then called the number above and peter ray answered the phone, she told him that what had happened was a scam and she did not authorize me to use her card and she wanted the charges stopped. peter told her that code was placed on my computer and it could not be reused and he declined to stop the payment. I had all my security software installed and up to date and no one had permission to connect to my computer remotely. we are still trying to get the charges of her credit card. By the way he even sent info and printed it straight to my printer.

Accidentally put the wrong url and suddenly there were pop ups claiming that I got a virus. It was the first time that happened to me and I panicked so I called the number. They offered to fix the problem and I thought that by waiting to handle the situation that it would get worst so I agreed. They offered to remove the virus and provide a firewall service, either yearly for 199.99 or 500 for a lifetime service. It seemed that the 500 was the better deal so I paid for that plan. While they were fixing my computer, which took about an hour, I started thinking that this could be a scam. I started to look up more information online after they finished and found that this is most likely a scam. I researched the company as well but I was unable to find much information so I called to make sure they provided a working number. They picked up and I asked how come I don't see the product purchase anywhere on my computer. They claimed to have set up the firewall into the router's IP address. I wasn't buying it so later on the day I called again to get a refund but they began to get offended and that's when I thought that this is likely a scam. There was also another number on their website I tried to call but it wasn't a working number. They also all had quite a think Indian accent so I'm guessing they might be operating internationally.
