Media enigma scammers

I used the platform Upwork to work as a freelancer with translations. At first I received an email saying for me to send a message to “Hannah Mark” on telegram, well I did saying I am interested in the job. After it I saw that the job was deleted from the platform Upwork (first red flag) but I thought they didn’t need more people that is why they deleted. After this I talked to the Hannah mark on telegram, everything went well, then she sent the projects, which were with a really good payment for being what it was, just a simple translation (second red flag), so that was the moment I started to suspect and I decided to search on Google, when I saw this reviews I knew something was wrong and I declined the “job”. After it she (If it’s a she) persisted that I should trust them, which for me is very very weird. Then I searched for the pictures and not even that was true, the girl in the picture is named “Thay Strader” and of course is not her, so I said to her and now this Hannah Mark deleted the account on telegram.
DON’T TRUST MEDIA ENIGMA
ALWAYS SEARCH FOR THE COMPANY TO SEE IF IT EXISTS.
I gonna send some photos as well of the “payment” she was showing to prove that she would (of course really bad quality)

I saw that they posted a job on Upwork so I applied for the job. They asked for start fee before giving you the documents. I payed and finished the work and when it’s paid time they asked for all kinds of fees. Never end. I’m still struggling to get the payment if you see them don’t apply. Never apply the address on the website is fake also. Search on Google and you get a piece of land

I used Upwork to look for work from home freelance jobs. I responded to a Typist position and was asked to notify them directly on the Telegram app **********. It was explained that I was to choose a Product for how many pages I wanted to Transcribe. I was told there was an $80 fee to sign up as a freelancer. The first red flag was that they wanted me to send payment to a Venmo account. However, the payment was declined. ******* then told me to try and send to several other Venmo and Paypal accounts, all of which didn't work.

Their website, www.mediaenigma.com is obviously a faux website (I realize that now). They make you sign up for an "account" and have a customer service chat where someone is always available to answer you. I completed a job which took me 4 hours and then I was told in order to get paid, I needed to send them $240 to "link my account". This seemed bogus to me, but I foolishly fell for it. Everytime I would try and send them money the accounts they would send did not work.

All in all, I did not get paid. They gave me a run around and excuse and then made promises, none of which came to fruition. The next thing I knew, I tried to log into my "account" with them and it was totally gone. I'm out $620 and learned my lesson the hard way. An absolute scam to watch out for.
