Check fraud. Ida Gunnarsson sends you a text about your resume on indeed.com. Promise of employment on the telegram app. Roger Bard interviews, hires you, and offers to send a check to cover equipment costs of company laptop etc. The funds clear and you send the money over Zelle and Apple Pay to the “vendors” and then the check bounces and you will have given them all that money and lose the money from the check which was never a real check.

A person named Roger, who claimed to be the HR manager from Sodra AB, introduced himself and conducted a job interview with me through the messaging app Telegram. He offered me a job and mentioned that he would be sending a check to cover equipment expenses. They used legitimate websites and even sent me job offer documents such as the W4 and i-9 forms. However, I became suspicious and did not fill out the forms. After researching on LinkedIn, I discovered that they were using someone else's photo and name to pose as the real person. Our communication solely consisted of job interview questions on the Telegram app without any video calls. Roger informed me that he would be sending me a check to deposit into my account for equipment purchases. It is unusual for a legitimate company to send a check in this manner. Upon expressing my doubts about the job offer, I informed Roger that I had reached out to the real company via email to verify the legitimacy of the offer and had contacted the actual person. Subsequently, he deleted his photo and stopped responding to me.

He accepted me for a jobs I was looking for on indeed.com and asked me to fill form that I need to put my SSN information. After that he sent check to my address so I can deposit in my bank account and withdraw to buy supplies for working.
