661-679-8898 This number keep saying I owe a loan I never got they can’t tell me where or when I got it

They have been calling me repeatedly, using a name I have not been known by for over 10 years. Stated I owe for a payday loan. I asked them to send me the information, they refused. I asked them to stop calling me and they increased thier calls. I do not now nor have I ever owed a payday loan. If I did have an outstanding payday loan, they only have 4 years to collect in california. Which based off the name they referred to me as, maiden, it could not have been.

Called my mother said I had a loan out in a place I haven't lived for 10 years they said this happend in 2020 and if I didn't pay the court was going to take action against me. Not only had I not lived in the state for 10 years not even to visit I also have never took out a loan in any state

They call up saying you have an outstanding Payday Loan Balance from back in 2012. They give you all sorts of your own information back to you to convince you that you or someone (in my case I figured it was my ex-wife) took out a loan in your name. They then tell you they're going to take you to court unless you make this go away with a settlement today.

I got the same problem with this phone number. They Call to my job, my family. That I owed some money since march seventeen two thousand and twelve I'm scared so I don't know if I can talk to the police department or something. I record everything they say in I said the message thank you.

My sister received a phone call 12/27/23 from someone named Elizabeth Williams asking for me. Stating I have an offending matter in the county. I called the phone number and immediately they asked if it was me. They transferred me over and said I have a debt from 2012. They said I can settle now or I would be taken to civil court which would be 2,000. I asked them to mail me the information claiming I owe money. They refused. The said once payment is done they would email me the documents. They have called non stop myself, sister, father, and sisters boyfriend.

I got a call on 12/27/23 Someone by the name of elizabeth Williams contacted me, my sister and sisters husband from consumer impact recovery stating that I owe a company EZ Corp/EZ money from a payday loan in 2012. Whe. I asked them to send a letter or provide their corporate address to look up the debt agency they refused and said this will be taken to civil court. I now know they are scammers trying to get money from people. What annoyed me is they contacted my family and were non stop calling them day after day. Idk how they got the numbers. I told them I will be filing a complaint against them as it is not standard practice and they refused to tell me the address. Phone is +1 (737) 400-6433

Someone by the name of Kay Williams contacted my daughter and my husband on 11/3/23 from consumer impact recovery stating that I owe a company EZ Corp/EZ money $415 from a payday loan in 2013. I have no idea who and what that company is. The person was rude and pushy and kept saying I was going to jail for fraud if I don't pay this money. The amount in total was $1,220 including legal fees. The company would settle for $800 . I made a payment arrangement with them. I am thinking this is a scam. I have notified my bank and they have suggested that I cancel my debit card immediately. Which I am.

A gentleman who said his name is John Davis said he was calling me from a debt recovery firm and he had all my information on a old account that I can't remember if I paid it all off or not but he said he was tryna get it cleared up and he he sent me a email agreement paperwork I signed but I then got to thinking about it because I was at work at the time but I didn't send him anything but I want to know for sure if it real and I contacted the place he said I owed but they don't have any file for me but I don't know what to do since I did signed the paperwork

These scammers harrassed my sister in law on 3/1/23 before contacting me, then on 3/14 stated they had a debt of mine that they were collecting, took my debit card information then kept jumping around with different dollar amounts, I went from owing $1000, to $525, to $3000 at the end of call so I started asking alot of questions, I asked for their license number which they could not provide, I asked for a supervisor, which they could not provide. I was already aware the collection actually IS on my credit report but they kept telling me it isn't when I knew better so I immediately jumped on my report and another agency is responsible for it. So I called the actual agency on my credit report and they assured me that they are the only ones attempting to collect for this debt and Consumer Impact Recovery is a scam. I then had to call and cancel my debit card and I called the imposters back and told them I know they are a scam and let them know they will not get a dime from me, to which they then hung up on me. I didn't hear anything from them on 3/15 and then again today on 3/16 they started again! I told them not to call me aymore that they are nothing but a scam and the lady, who calls herself "Jay" said hold on let me transfer you and I just hung up.
