I inquired about a work from home ad that was listed among many from a job website (don't recall name). This is complete response I received. Decided to verify if company listed with BBB...NOTHING. I never responded or communicated any other info to this company.

This is an excellent opportunity if you meet the requirements. Our shipping agents benefit from the flexibility of being able to work from home with a company that is rapidly growing across the world, earning healthy and consistent income. Please note: we do not require you to make any sort of investment.

Access Logistics makes it possible for individuals and businesses from anywhere in the world to purchase items from US retailers, regardless of whether the retailer has an international shipping operation or not. Without services like ours, our customers would not be able to make these purchases or, if they could, they would be prohibitively expensive. In practical terms, we receive items from US retailers and then forward them on to our customers wherever they are in the world. We do this in a way that is cost effective as well as efficient, safe, and reliable.

In addition, the unique and innovative structure of our business allows us to operate a worldwide distribution operation in a highly efficient way. This is because we have managed to eliminate almost all the complexities faced by traditional logistics companies. Our business model doesn't require expensive warehouses. The way we operate is through a network of remote shipping agents located throughout the US. They operate from their own homes or private offices, giving our customers postal addresses to rent.

The main requirement is that you have an address in the continental US, that you live or work regularly at that address, and that you are there during standard business trading hours.

Requirements:

1. You cannot have another full-time job as this will prevent you from fulfilling your duties as a shipping agent on our team.

2. You must be at your home or private office between 10 AM and 6 PM every weekday so you can receive deliveries on behalf of our customers. Those deliveries will be from main carriers like UPS, USPS, and FedEx.

3. In addition, you may occasionally be called on to collect packages from retailers (Apple, Walmart, Bestbuy, etc.) that are within 10 miles of your home or from a local UPS or USPS office.

4. You need a reliable transportation to take the packages that you receive to your local post office so they can be delivered on to our customers.

5. You need to inspect the items and make sure they match the description. You must treat every delivery with care, ensuring packages are handled carefully.

6. Some of the packages you will receive may weigh as much as 30 pounds. Therefore, you must be able to handle packages of this weight.

7. You need to be responsible as well as self-motivated.

8. You need fast internet access, a printer, and a digital camera.

9. You don't need previous logistics experience as full training will be given, but it can be beneficial.

Duties:

1. Every weekday you will need to log in to your account to check the packages due on that day. You should also print the shipping labels for forwarding those packages. The onward shipping is prepaid so it is important you use the provided labels.

2. Accept the deliveries as they arrive. This could be by a number of different carriers including FedEx, DHL, UPS, and USPS.

3. Inspect the packages after they arrive to check they are in good condition, according to our quality standards. Upload photos.

4. Process the packages so they can be delivered on. This often includes combining orders, which involves putting multiple items into a single box according to instructions which you receive in your online account. We provide you with prepaid shipping labels, which you must affix to each package as requested.

Compensation

If your application to be a shipping agent is successful, you will be paid $2,000 per month. This is paid directly into your bank or into your PayPal account. If you handle 50 packages during any calendar month, you will get $500 extra as a bonus. You will get a W-2 form from us each year that will show the taxes we have withheld, as per the law.

You can also claim for any expenses you have to pay to fulfill your duties - these will be reimbursed in full. Accepted expenses include fuel costs, internet access costs, and the cost of packaging materials.
