- Saint Paul, MN, USA

I was contacted on my cell phone and when answered, a recording started stating that they were ready to process an invoice for $199 on my credit card to renew my subscription for computer tech service. If I wanted to cancel this, I was told to call another nbr. I called the nbr and spoke to a person who told me they were ready to renew my subscription in 2 days. I told them I was unsure of purchasing this service and they told me I subscribed on 07/25/18. I played along and asked what credit card nbr has been used last year as I was concerned that it was possible that card had expired. They would not tell me the card nbr. they said they did not have that info and that they needed to transfer me over to their computer for me to personally do the cancellation. I hung up on them. I checked all my credit card records and did not find any transaction for $199 on any account in the month of or near the month they said I made the purchase. THIS IS A SCAM!
