My daughter was supposedly hired by them, she did the training, went to do her first demo at walmart, she was to contact management, but when she found someone, they looked at her like they had no idea who she was or anything about the company. That day was no demos being done, so they had her cleaning..She stated something felt off about the whole thing..She came home and has not gone back..and she is unable to contact anyone..She hasn't been paid for the training she has done..and no one has contacted her.

I was told to go to the Walmart in Vicksburg,Mississippi and pass out samples of blueberries . I was told to ask for a woman named Ms.Glen. I went there and asked for her and they said she doesn’t exist. Let alone advantage solutions didnt give me a last name for her. I asked Walmart if they worked with advantage solutions and they said they never heard of it. They asked for two proofs of citizenship and I gave them my social security card number and my license number. I don’t know if they will use my i

I went on Indeed and Monster searching for employment in my area. I live in rather a small farming community, so it is not uncommon for large out-of-state companies to source-in and post jobs. I saw a job listed as "event specialist" posted by a company called Advantage Solutions. In essence, the job was for those individuals you see at grocery stores handing out samples of different foods. I quickly applied because the position was part-time, I met the requirements, and I thought that it would look good on my resume since I was getting my foot in the door working with food. An out-of-state number called me within a matter of days, a recruiter, who asked me rudimentary questions. I then followed up with an actual hiring personnel who said I had the job, if I wanted it. This is when things started to go downhill. Every time the company called me, it was from a different number and speaking to somebody new. Most of the emails were never the same, but being a small town person, I figured that is just how larger corporations function. I filled out the usual employee paperwork: name, address, medical information, etc. I then filled out my tax forms as needed. What now strikes me as odd, but did not then, is they needed a second form of identification, so now not only do they have my social security number, they have my passport number as well. They then said they needed to run a credit report since I would be issued a company credit card for purchasing items. Again, at the time, I thought nothing of it. Lastly, for direct deposit, they said they needed my bank account and routing number, which I gave because in my mind, most jobs do direct deposit. After two weeks of waiting and not being employed, I finally get an email stating I can begin online training. During my initial phone interview, the woman I spoke with explicitly said that there would only be two training videos/certifications I would have to do. The email I got, with the long-in access they gave me, clearly showed there were at least three, if not more. The problem is, when I tried to access the site that they gave me, I could log in initially, but then the screen would turn white. When I contacted someone about it, they said that "the system was down, try again later." Not only that, each part of the job required a different website log-in. To do your training videos you logged into this website, to view your hiring progress, you logged into this website. It seems to me, a legitimate business would have everything on one cohesive website, or at least the same log-in for everything. It has now been two weeks of me technically hired yet not started working, so I sent them an official letter of resignation the other day. I did not hear back from them at all, just my access from their three separate website log-ins has been denied. These people have all of my credentials and I am terrified they are going to steal my identity.
