This company promises to pay commission for sales rendered from an advertisement you place on your car. Sign on bonuses and compensation are promised for buying the decal, but you cannot collect it until you've made a commission. However, if you call the number for information on the product, they do not respond. They're selling Dish Network and conversations with them deny ANY relationship with advertiseonmycar.net OR ZapTV.

this business takes your money with the idea that you will advertise a business on your car using a decal and then you get paid so much through comission. They take your money for a background check and for an account with them with the understanding they will return your money. THEY DO NOT return your money, they charge an annual fee which renews every few months.

Before you read this, I am NOT a car advertisement wrap user, just a skeptical and concerned potential user who is thinking about it. From what I have found online, I do not feel good about any of this. But, I could still be wrong. My first gut feeling is that I do not think I should do this, trust your gut, right? I was interested in looking into more about AdvertiseOnMyCar.net and am unable to find any good about them online, just bad scam information. The reason I am even interested, is that I saw a car driving in Denver, CO with a window decal and decided to look it up and see if I could also make some money. The car was a black Cadillac Escalade - looked legit. I went to the website, left a message and received a phone call a day later. A lady called me from (720) 463-5115 caller ID shows Sedalia, CO, just happened to be the same area code for my cellphone. She said they are in Provo, UT which is area code (801) or (385), strange, right? I started to think I better look them up online before I give out my credit card number after her phone call rant of wanting $19.95. She told me that I would get a $50.00 signing bonus today, when the automatic email said a $10.00 signing bonus, mixed information - but I'm listening. This $50.00 bonus would be put in my user account after a few days. If someone did not sign up using the code on my car decal each month, I would get a $100.00 Restaurants.com certificate (which isn't really a deal or gift anyway). I would be advertising for Dish TV (Which is actually "Dish Network" - red flag) and get paid $300.00 per customer sign up from the advertisement on my car. I was told after two successful advertisements (which did not have dates or timeframes) I would be getting paid $200.00 a month base pay. The lady asked a bunch of "Do you want to do this?"-"Do you agree?" type questions. She asked me to pay $19.95 for the decal to cover printing costs and delivery. I was told once I put this on my car, to send a picture, upload it to my profile, they would credit my account $19.95 right away. With all of this information, I did not feel comfortable for many reasons; yet I did not sign up and give this lady my credit card, essentially moving forward. These are purely my concerns so far and there are many:

1. The lady was purely calling me as a telemarketer as there was a long pause before she started talking - red flag.

2. She sounded foreign and like a robot with no emotion - red flag.

3. She asked me for money and a credit card number - red flag.

4. Signing bonus of $50.00 when other information was stating $10.00 in an email someone sent me from: [email protected]

5. She did not have a contract for me to sign or review before I was about to give her my credit card number - BIG red flag.

6. When I asked for references or information about existing advertisers do this on their cars, the lady wanted me to go to http://www.carwrapreviews.com/ which could have been their own website for all I know, not a third party. Another red flag.

7. When I asked about the BBB, she said that they do not use the BBB as they require lots of money per year to be a member or to be current with the BBB program - red flag.

8. She said that they were a Fortune 500 Company. Really? No online presence? Another red flag.

9. There is no Facebook presence for a Provo Utah company, rather a UK connection and they all lead back to other not so hot looking car advertising companies with TERRIBLE reviews.

10. This website shows statistics of the website www.advertiseonmycar.net at http://40.tritti.com/advertiseonmycar.net and they are dismal at best.

11. Spelling errors on email - red flag. Here is the email that AdvertiseOnMyCar.net sent me on 10/17/16 after I requested information from them 10/16/16:

LOOKS LIKE WE MISSED YOU WHEN WE CALLED!

12. They did not ask about my driving record.

13. They did not ask me about the car I drive.

14. They did not ask if my car runs.

15. They did not ask me how many miles I drive per day/week/month.

16. I drive a lot, I am very observant and I have never seen one of these car decals, yet over 240,000 people around the country have them.

I received another call today from them from the same number 10/20/16. The lady had no clue that I already went through this process yesterday. When I asked to talk to customer service, she put me on hold and after 20 seconds I felt like I was talking to the exact same person. I asked to review a contract and have that emailed to me and she hung up on me. I called back and talked to someone who put me through the entire company background again. I told them to stop calling me, put me on a do not call list and that I was going to report them to the BBB right away.
