AES Indiana Reports & Reviews (1)

Received call the my electricity was about to be cut off, I had just paid the bill a couple of days prior and the person on the phone said they didn't receive my payment because my IPL bill hasn't switched over to the new AES system. They knew the exact amount of my last two bills and told me if I didn't pay the bill my electricity would be cut off, and once the systems are switched over they would send me a check back. The had me to go to my bank account and go to Send Money with Zeller, so I thought since this link is on my bank account it had to be okay. So they gave me information to put in 800-203-6384 for $499.87. Then they said they didn't recieve my payment and for me to do it again but with $500.00 this time, that's when I knew it was a scam and didn't send the $500.00 payment. I then contacted Chase bank's fraud department and explained my situation and they told me there is nothing the could do because I had sent the money.
