AGFA HealthCare Reports & Reviews (4)

I was contacted by their personnel manager named Kerri Rohrbeck. She told me I was being interviewed for the administrative assistant position at AGFA HealthCare. The interview was conducted on Google Hangouts and afterwords I was told that I got the job. They sent a contract for me to confirm my name, contact information, and my confirmation date of employment. I was instructed to be ready for training Monday, January 16 and that I would be contacted by a training supervisor named Brian C. Betcher. They contacted me at 6:15 am CST. My training supervisor then gave me FedEx tracking numbers for checks that I would receive at my house. I received them and was asked deposit them by atm. I went to the teller and deposited it normally and after doing so, I scanned them the receipt. I was asked today if I had a debit card to use to send a Money Gram of $180 to Mary Dolores Gomez (my equipment vendor) in Omaha, NE 68107. After sending it as Walmart to Walmart I sent them the reference number and scan of the receipt. Brian Betcher then asked me to send $2500 from my personal funds to the vendor's assistant, Robin Cheers of Wilmington, DE. I went and sent it through Money Gram, but Brian Betcher asked me to change it to Walmart to Walmart because Robin could not pick it up. When I went to do this, the Walmart employee remembered me from this morning and contacted Money Gram International. They talked to me and explained that many of their members have lost money sending to the Omaha region and finally told me that I may have been scammed. They asked me to talk to my bank immediately and my bank also contacted me because they were afraid that I was scammed. They have placed holds on the checks. Below is one of the checks they sent me.

Received email about administrative assistant position available for AGFA Health Care. I was told to ad Shaniya Granger to my buddies list on google hangout and start the interview process. I was told I was hired after going over the qualifications for the job. She told me i would receive Apple Laptop, Iphone 6plus, telephone mini office stationaries at no cost to me. during my training they would send me a check/money order for me to deposit. i would take out $150 for my signing fee and the rest is sent to the vendor in charge of my mini office equipment for shipping. the reason they did thoings this way was to establish trust and verify my ability to handle funds. Then they asked for my name, address, phone number, along with 2 references to the email account [email protected]. By this time I knew what their game was and told them so. I have not heard back from them via google hangout or email.

I was given an email that stated their company was given my resume from the company called ZipRecruiter. The email went on to say that I was picked upon other resumes and they would like to have an interview with me. The email was not very well written and had a lot of mistakes in grammar. I decided to look into it deeper and was not able to find a company that had the same name, turns out the company then asked me to conduct an interview by use a face chat service called "google hangouts". I downloaded it and was tempted to contact them by using their contact email with the google hangouts. I do not want to make contact, because the position did say that it was a at home job. I looked over my applications and found an application that I sent in for Manger of Information technology, but was emailed back by this company for a customer service/data entry position. These two positions are completely different and I was really confused after I discovered this discrepancy. Please find out if this company is really valid, also I will contact them further to see if I can gather any more information on their interivew. If I find anything else I will be sure to disclose the information as soon as possible. Thank you for your help in this matter.

I have supposedly been hired in the position of Data Entry/Customer Service Rep for AGFA. My interview mngr. Is James Jay. We only communicate via email or Google Hangouts. I have completed a handful of forms including the employment letter for the job, a W-4 form and the USCIS form. Over the last week I've completed a series of tasks via Google Hangouts. Now I've been asked for some banking information for direct deposit of my pay. I want to know if this is legitimate.
