I purchased the Unit through Wal-mart. Because of this, I believe it was a legitimate item. The product was listed as, Airemax 115V 15,000 BTU ASHRAE (10,000 BTU DOE) Portable Air Conditioner. It never worked. I contacted Wal-mart to return but was told to contact the manufacturer and I did. They took months to respond. This issue originally began in July and I have only received two emails from them and they have never answered their phone or called me back.
