Allied Executive Recruiters, Inc. (same as SLE Recruiting Inc.) Reports & Reviews (11)

I received the email from "Julie Smith" about an opportunity so I followed up with her. She asked for a copy of my resume, which I thought was strange, since recruiters generally don't contact you unless they know everything about you. I sent a very bare bones copy over to them. Walter White sent me an email the next stating there was a problem with my email and I needed to send it to optimized solutions to fix it. I converted the file to a text file and resent it. I heard back a few days later that the deal fell through because the merger partner pulled out at the last second and the company was looking for another partner. This really seemed strange, since that kind of thing would have been all over the news.

Received the same, almost believed it too. Beware and don't fall for this nonsense

Hello Viktor,

This email is in response to the resume you've sent to us. I am the team leader on this project and have received your information from Julie Smith.
We are having an issue with your resume. I asked my colleague and apparently, it is a common issue. He instructed me to ask you to check your resume through https://optimisedresumes.com and see if you can identify and fix the problem.

We can open the file without any issues but the problem is with the way information in your resume is structured and formatting used which is resulting in a lot of missing information in experience fields when your resume is parsed by the candidate management systems. Please check your resume and try fixing the issue so we don't have to manually type everything in our candidate tracking system.

We have a call scheduled with the client on Tuesday next week and I will try to make a brief introduction. I am available for a call anytime on Wednesday next week. Let me know a time that works for you and I will give you a call to discuss the next steps and in the meantime please try to get your resume issue fixed so our timing is not affected.

Best regards,

Walter White

I also had this happen same form letter... beware this company; the red flags are all over "this is in response to a resume you sent over" -- I never sent a resume, etc. And they want to introduce me to a client on Tuesday but never vetted me or reviewed with me the job or customer type etc. etc. AVOID

All they want is our money to pay for a resume scan because they can't read a simple Word or PDF document. Don't get suckered into it.

...$5 to reformat my resume...? Stating it's too much of a trouble for them to type in the blanks. So strange!

Same as above. Initial email from Julie Smith. I sent my resume. Follow-up email from Walter White (Breaking Bad anyone?) saying my resume was not coming through and that I needed to have it scanned through optimisedresumes.com. There you are asked to pay $5 fee to scan and correct issues with your resume. I started to smell a scam and poked around and found their HQ to be in a small building in Brooklyn. No phone numbers to be found anywhere for contact info. Checking the website, I said these people look like they are straight out of Casting Central for Recruiter Executives - like actors/models. Didn't pay the money and now updating here. Stay clear. Not a legit opportunity.

Sane exact email and experience with 'Allied Executive Recruiters'. I received and email from 'Julie White' 2 days ago asking for my resume and indicating a match for one of their retained search clients. After I sent her my resume, I received a second email today from 'Walter White' telling me their was a problem with my resume parsing and that I needed to go to their link to determine the cause. I researched them before sending my resume but apparently not well enough! After seeing the email today, it didn't sit right with me, so I did more research and found the scam alerts for Allied and SLE. They are BOTH scams--please beware! People like this should be ashamed!

Got the same email. Image searching the four folks on the website reveals some pretty surprising results. The one on the bottom left really gets around and has many names. Most likely these are "stock" images used to make the company seem legit. I confirmed arcepe's Domain Name registry date info in his post as well. Total SCAM, please do not fall for this. The email you receive is well constructed, void of the typical "lost in translation" typos we normally see.

Received an email from "Julie Smith" wanting me to submit a resume for a possible executive position. Something didn't seem right, so I checked their website. They claim to be in business for 30 years, but their Internet Domain Name was purchased just days ago. Googling the company name reveals no exact matches at all. They are supposedly located in a less-than-elegant section of New York City. Then I Google the picture of "Julie" and find it's the same picture as on SLE Recruiting. In fact, all the pictures of people are the same, but their names are different and the text is nearly identical. Found the listing for SLE Recruiting on this site where that person reproduced the same email I received, with different names. Absolutely a scam.
