On Sunday, September 25, 2022, I responded to an ad on Facebook Marketplace regarding a Nintendo Switch along with numerous games for sale at an incredible price of $85 for ALL of them. When I responded I asked several times if every picture that was shown in the ad was actually what I was paying for and would then receive and was told YES. After speaking with Amanda through Facebook messenger, I agreed to purchase it. She was VERY pushy and told me that she had several other people interested in it as well and I needed to send the money ASAP. No problem, I did just that. I was then told because she would cover shipping, she would then mail it the next day (Monday) and would overnight it to me. I sent the money and was expecting to receive a tracking number the next day and to my surprise, she went absolutely silent for almost 2 days. Her entire attitude changed towards me making it seem like I was bothering with all my messages because I was trying to get a tracking number to track my purchased item. It took her 2 weeks to get me a tracking number and the one she provided me was not a valid one. I have every single one of the correspondence that was made between us and explained to her that she can either refund my money or I will file charges against her. She comes off as a person that doesn't know much about technology when in fact the feeling I get is that she has done this to other people as well. I want something done about her, my items or my money back. I have already made contact with the bank and the local police department. I will be contacting the local police department in her town as well.
