Amelia Cotton Quilt Company Reports & Reviews (165)

Ordered a quilt from Amelia Quilt on December 2, 2018. Received confirmation email, and an email, that my order was ready. In December 19, I decided to check my Order status, and was wondering why my order had not been shipped. I decided to check my tracking number. Says order does not exist, and the web site is closed to ship orders out for the holidays. I highly suspect this company does not actually exist, and I am very upset at losing the money I put out. Almost $75.

I was wondering where my order is? I placed my order of Nov 30th. I received an email that my quilt was done but have heard nothing since. Can you tell me if my quilt will be delivered before Christmas?

Kxxx  This email is a service from Ecrafta. Delivered by Zendesk

Facebook had an ad that talked about different themed quilts. I believed they would be legit because I thought Facebook would screen their advertisers so I bought 3 of them. I have yet to receive any of them and I bought 3.

- Oak Lawn, IL, USA

I placed an order for a quilt on December 8. I received an email for confirmation. The quilt was never delivered, but my money has been taken. The amount was $44.91.

On November 19, 2018, I ordered a quilt from Amelia Quilt after viewing their ad on Facebook. The price (including shipping) was almost $55.00. I paid using my debit card thru Paypal and immediately received an e-mail receipt for the transaction. Also on that date, I received a "welcome" letter from "Amelia Parker - Founder of Amelia Quilt" thanking me for my order and assuring me that they were there to make me happy with their service. Also on 11/19, I received an e-mail indicating my order was getting ready to be shipped and they would notify me when shipping occurs.

On 11/20, I received an e-mail indicating my order was "officially being processed" and the estimated processing time was 5 to 7 working days.

On December 11, I received an e-mail notification that my order had now shipped, providing both the order and a link to use in tracking my order. This e-mail was sent from amelia-quilt < [email protected]. The link is to "DHL ecommerce" and the tracking order supplied was "CNCSE3188500638324".

I checked on December 17 with DHL in order to get an update as to the expected delivery date. At that time, the status was "6:57 p.m. - Arrival at DHL ecommerce Distribution Center". I continued checking the status with DHL on a daily basis, and noticed there was no update as to the status of the package. By that time, I was beginning to get suspicious as to the validity of this sale, so on December 18, I sent an e-mail to Ameliaquilt indicating my dissatisfaction as to the delivery of my order. I received a response from Ecrafta [email protected], acknowledging my inquiry and telling me their "support staff" was reviewing it and would respond within the next 24 business hours.

The next day I received the following e-mail:

"

Hi Gail,

Thank you for reaching out. Your order was sent out for production, and once it's shipped, we will send you an update email with the tracking number.

Please stay tuned with us. Thank you for your patience.

Best Regards,

Ecrafta Support Team.

I immediately responded that I'd already received notification my order had shipped, received the tracking number, etc. I've had no reply or additional correspondence with them since that time.

Due to the fact their responses were confusing at best, I decided to GOOGLE the website and discovered the SCAM alert posted by the BBB. I believe this company's got my $55.00 and I'll never receive anything from them!!

Bought a quilt from them at the beginning of November and never got it. They even sent me a fake tracking number and fake email to contact them

- Northport, AL, USA

Bought a quilt off the site that was highlighted on Facebook. Used PayPal

- Shortsville, NY, USA

I purchased 3 quilts for Christmas presents on Facebook by one of the paid advertising ads that kept popping up. They even offered a discount. I looked over their website and it looked legit and I was happy to see products were made in the USA. My card was charged and I never did get a shipping date but emailed them a couple of times and they assured me it was in the process. I was going to just cancel my order today and couldn't find the Facebook page and then scam alerts popped up.

- West Springfield, MA, USA

Ordered two quilts on 11/23 and 11/26. Never received them and they sent one email on 8th December stating mailed soon. Now almost Christmas and still have not received them. Requesting refund from my bank. Do Not Purchase from them.

SCAM

- Twin Falls, ID, USA

Amelia's Quilts - Also masquerading as Printabel Company Limited... I purchased 9 quilts through Paypal and none of them have arrived... No follow up emails and no recourse. Paypal will investigate but I am out Christmas for several family members and friends.

I just wanted you to know that this is an additional name to add to your list of scam websites for this company.

I was supposed to receive a queen size quilt before Christmas.

I placed my order on-line on 12/6/18.

At 6:46 p.m. that same day I received a confirmation email from the Merchant.

As the order entry process did not allow me to apply a discount code that they had supplied me, I immediately followed up with an email asking how I could apply the discount code to the order.

At 6:52 p.m. on same day (12/6/18), I received an email from merchant advising they had received my request and they would review in 24 business hours.

On December 12, 2018 after being unsuccessful in getting a response to any emails, I googled the company and found a BBB Alert that basically stated I had been the victim of a scam.

On December 20, 2018, I went to the Merchant’s website to track my order and was given a notification that “Order not found” Merchant.

- Savannah, MO, USA

I clicked on the link (Ameliaquilt) through Facebook. The website was VERY authentic looking and there were multiple choices for quilts. I selected a fishing quilt. I paid over $60. I received an invoice showing paid and on Dec 10th I received an email stating the quilt was done and ready for shipment. It said they would send me a tracking number once it was picked up. There was a space for my order number and email so I entered that information and it says order not found.

- Cullman, AL, USA

On November 25, 2018 I ordered a queen size cat quilt for a Christmas gift for my sister. I paid with PayPal. Business name was Amelia Quilt. I never received it. When I checked on the website it stayed “Oops, page cannot be found.” I looked up the company to find as of December 10, 2018 the ScamPulse.com had received multiple complaints and was investigating this company as well as the same company going by other names. This company was also known as Amelia Cotton Quilt Company, Joyce Quilting, Emma Cotton Quilts, Elise Quilts and Bella Quilt Company. The BBB indicated no business registration was found in the state of Oregon. The article suggests filing a complaint with the FBI internet crime complaint center at www.ic3.org and the Federal trade commission at www.ftc.gov. The address was found to be a private residence. Attempts to contact these fake businesses by BBB at [email protected] found no response. I requested my money returned or a quilt from this email and I received a response from Mariah Garner at (Ecrafta). Stating the quilt was in production and an email would be sent to me when It was ready to be mailed. My order was paid by PayPal in the amount of $58.91. When I searched Facebook numerous others commented about these companies being scams. No one received their ordered items.

- Grand Junction, CO, USA

Purchased a quilt online for Christmas that was supposed to take up to 9 days to make then it would ship. I checked out their nice website first and it all looked legit. Tons of photos of these nice quilts and happy customers. Got the notification in a friendly email 11 days ago that the quilt was ready and waiting to be shipped by DSL. It has yet to be shipped. They respond to emails. A person by the name of Tania responds and feeds me a line. I just now saw the scammer articles that were published in the last day or two. I'm now guessing Tania and the company is not based out of Salem, Oregon but from Russia. I hope my bank helps return my money from this fraud.

- Seymour, CT, USA

I ordered 2 quilts that looked beautiful online with this company. I did receive an email that confirmed the order and it stated that it was being processed and will ship soon. I went back on the website and wanted to see the shipping date to find out it was a scam. I used a credit card to pay for it and will be looking into whether the purchase is protected. This is an email I received.

Amelia Quilt

Total scam. Found their advertisement on Facebook. I purchased a $54 quilt, and paid (thankfully) through PayPal. They sent me an order confirmation email saying it would take 5-7 days to process. After two weeks, I emailed them for an order update. The responded with a canned email telling me to be patient. This was a huge red flag, so I emailed back immediately. No response this time. Another red flag. Looked up their website online, and there is absolutely NO contact info listed! Third red flag! I checked into ScamPulse.com for any information they might have and discovered this was a scam. I contacted PayPal immediately and filed a fraud claim, and I gave them the ScamPulse.com alert information for their investigation. I was promptly issued a refund from PayPal.

- Hillsboro, OR, USA

This company was listed in our local newspaper Wednesday 12/19/18 that they are scamming people out of money and using pay-pal to do so. I was given a bogus tracking number to track my order. My order was placed 11/19/2018 and has not arrived in the time I was told it would be here. The company's website I ordered from is not on the internet anymore, you are redirected to another site that is shut down. I put my information in that site and it says I never ordered anything. I emailed the company directly from the email listed [email protected] and have not received a response.

- Salem, OR, USA

I purchased two quilts from a Facebook ad for Amelia Quilts which said they were located in Oregon. I paid via PayPal. I received emails confirming the transaction. I emailed them several times over the next 3 weeks it always sent a receipt email saying I’d hear back within 24 hrs...never did. After two weeks I got an email stating my order was finished and would be shipped out DHL. I would get a tracking number as soon as it was picked up by them. After a week no tracking info. I continued to email and then began searching (investing) online and say many more complaints from others that had the same story as me. This was a scam. Luckily, PayPal refunded my money after investigating.

Saw advertisement on Facebook for quilts. Ordered two. DHL has never received these for shipment as outlined in emails I have received. Unfortunatley, now I seethat this is a scam.
