Stumbled across a news article on my Flipboard feed about this next generation Crypto Miner with massive hash rates, low power consumption and huge money making potential. A quick google of the company asicway.com brought up a number of reviews and news sites that all seemed very legit and convincing. One of the reviews was on Yahoo finance for example. Being somewhat naive about crypto miners but wanting to get into the industry I went ahead and ordered one of their units. Once the payment was made I received an email saying they were offering a special deal, buy another unit and they would give me one free! There were numerous grammatical issues with the email and so I decided to call them. Couldn't get through on any of the numbers, and in fact one was reported as being blocked by Telus for security reasons. At that point I Googled the addresses given on their website and came up as a car rental place in Australia and an oil change place in California!

Surprise, surprise there has been no further communication from them despite repeated emails.

Scam, scam, scam!!!
