was contacted by these people regarding my son...they are threatening legal action for supposed fraud...why would you call a third party number? also why contact someone that doesn't live in the same home...do not acknowledge these people as they are not trustworthy...had the person that lived here answered the phone i would have been horrified...another web site said it was a scam w/payday loans...payday loans isn't reputable either

They called and told me that i had an outstanding payday loan for 2012 and it was never paid. If i didn't pay I would be served with papers and they would file a complaint with my county. After they file a complaint with the court they would not be able to reverse it. I asked if i made payments would they send me validation of a debt. They said there was no need if I started making payments there was no need to send me the paperwork because the debt is being paid. I did start paying them and so far I've paid them 3 times. Not anymore, i have stop payment with them. Hope this helps someone.

A woman by the name of Lisa Bailey called me on my office line on Friday, January 26, 2018 claiming that I had a fraud charge against me from an old payday loan. She had the last four digits of my social security number, home address, work address, an address from 10+ years ago and a bank account name and account number (I am assuming since I don't remember that old #) again, from 10+ years ago. She acted as if she was trying to help me by saying if I paid $400 now I would be cleared, but if I didn't it would go to court and if the judge didn't side with me I would pay at least $2,000. She said that she would give me until Monday, January 29, 2018 to "think about it". She called my office phone back on Monday around the same time 3:30 PM and asked if I was ready to pay. When I insisted that I be mailed something she said that she would just send it to my county locator to come and serve me with court papers at my business or home address. She rattled off both addresses and said they would be here sometime this week, but she didn't know when. My husband called the number back to tell them to either mail me something or leave me the hell alone and this person then called me back on my cell phone. When I didn't answer, and blocked the number, she called my work phone again and left a message saying that he was rude and hung up on her and she was sending out the locator to serve me. I received another call from the same number that Lisa Bailey called from but this time the woman said she was a locator from my county and that she was trying to reach me to serve me with court papers. If Lisa Bailey had my address for home and work, then why is this so called locator calling me asking me to contact her. What do I need to do to get these people to stop harassing me? I am worried now that some crazy liar knows where I work and live.
