Canadian Sweepstakes Co. Reports & Reviews (1)

I received a phone call just after 8 P.M. on Friday November 8, 2017, from a John Anderson who said he was with the Canadian Sweepstakes Company and that I had won second prize of US$ 750,000.00. He asked if I was over 18 years old, and asked my marital status and if I shopped at Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Tire and a few other stores. He asked how I would like to receive the documents I would need to fill in to claim the prize. (I said email) He said I should not brag about my win until I received the prize. He also asked if I would be willing to appear on T.V. He said he was acting on behalf of the Bank of America. He said I may have been put in the Sweepstake automatically by the store in which I shopped, when I told him I did not buy a sweepstakes ticket. I phoned my son and he told me it must be a scam.

Today I received an email from Cindy Miller regarding the Sweepstakes and addressing me as Mrs. Zelisko in the header of the inbox, along with Sweepstakes Prize Confirmation. I DID NOT OPEN THE EMAIL BECAUSE MY SON TOLD ME NOT TO. THIS MUST BE A SCAM AND I WANT TO WARN OTHERS WHO MAY BE TEMPTED TO GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEIR DETRIMENT.
