Claiming to be Norton 360 Reports & Reviews (1)

scammer sent phishing email indicating my computer virus subscription had been auto renewed for 5 years at the cost of $499.55 and would be debited within the next 4 to 5 days. In order to cancel they indicated they needed remote access to their bank in order to complete the cancellation. To complete cancellation they they were able to see my bank balances. Then thru remote access for submitting cancellation form, they indicated a overture of money was transferred to my bank account. That now I needed to send the money back to them. In reality money was transferred from my savings to my checking account in the amount of $19,000.00

I detected the scam by logging into my bank account from another source and realized the difference.

Notified my bank to verify transaction (they covered their tracks. No reference number and only indicated web transaction).
