Cutie Paws Pomeranian Kody Jones Stephan Lockwood Reports & Reviews (1)

I lost my miniature pinscher (17 years) on 10 Dec 2020. When my granny died, I inherited her Chihuahua. 2 weeks after my mini pin passed, the Chihuahua died xmas morning (14 years). She started coughing that night but that wasn't unusual. I woke up and she was gone.

I had been looking at getting another Red Miniature Pinscher like Miss Scarlett. After looking at 100's of them, I found her. She got sold out from under me even tho she's not ready to leave her mama until the 20th of Jan.

I had seen the white Pomeranians before I found the Min Pin. Was interested. Contacted Cutie Paws - got pics and a video a week before. When I lost out on the min pin in Paris TX, I looked at the Pomeranian again, decided I wanted two females.

I have to tell you that right away, something was not quite right. It started with the first contract he sent (Kody Jones - an alias I'm sure). It had two male Pomeranians. I told him I wanted the two females. $1800 for both. I paid $900 yesterday morning and was to pay the remaining balance when they were delivered to my door. So, he sent another contract. I read it and saw the breed of the puppies said Maltese. I asked him what that was about - he was nonchalant. He sells Poms. Only. So, another flag, Then he began to ask for the contract back. It clearly states that I sign the contract AFTER my puppies show up, healthy. I told him this. Several hours later, he contacted me and asked me to send another $500 for issues with the person supposedly accompanying the puppies. Needed two crates, etc.... So I sent it to a Stephan Lockwood. Cash app. That's what he uses. Mr. Lockwood and Kody Jones are one in the same.

The puppies were supposed to be here today at 1pm. I owed $400 and was to pay on the arrival of the girls. They never came. No one contacted me. I just trusted they would be here at 1pm. So I contacted him. Asked where my puppies were.

Well, it seems that suddenly I needed to send him $2500 for LIFE INSURANCE for the puppies to fly - if they weren't insured, they could end up in quarantine, etc... Pushing me pretty hard for the $2500. I was appalled. First of all, he's the one that would insure the puppies! Not me. Furthermore, there isn't a new 'policy' that requires Life insurance for the pups to fly. While asking for this money, he was guaranteeing their arrival today. I knew it was all lies then. Especially after checking his story out about the Life Insurance policy that would "be refunded to me when puppies arrived the following morning at 9am. I told him to refund the $1400 I'd already given him. He then began to plead with me to work with him. To get that insurance so I could get my puppies. I actually told this evil person about my loss. He pretended to care. I'm beyond devastated. Absolutely crushed.

I called my bank. He already got the $900 (I think) but not the $500. They were able to put a stop payment on it.

The only advice I can give? And it was something I rarely EVER do: Ignore my gut instinct. It is always a mistake. If something doesn't feel right? It probably isn't.
