So this Tyler Hynes is a hallmark actor. The real one has posted many times that he only has two valid accounts. On Facebook there are about 12. And every time a person comments they say thank you sweetie please send me a direct message. They then have the people contacting them Via telegram, WhatsApp or other sites. This has been happening to my mom and I keep blocking the accounts. At one time I was actually able to see a phone number and it was from Nigeria. He has asked for bitcoin, he is said she hast to get a Hallmark pass to be able to keep talking that’s like 750 and he’s talk to her about business proposals. We keep deleting the apps and blocking but they keep finding her or she finds them. She has sent them her cell phone number And a lot of pictures and personal information because she thinks he’s her best friend

Trying to figure out if this is a scam but he has wanted money sent to other people to send to him. Most often used was Michele Akers. She is on FB and says she lives in Pittsburgh . Cash app $michele2f

My brother was the victim of a romance scam. He received a Facebook friend request and message from a person going by Melissa Wilison. They stated they were a 19/20 year old in Idaho Falls. They began chatting and it quickly turned romantic, with both sending explicit photos to each other. The person then asked my brother to video chat naked. When my brother got on the video call, the real person there but they only showed their body. The person then took a screenshot of him nude on the video call. After the screenshot was taken, my brother disconnected the call almost immediately started receiving messages from the person. They threatened to send the nude photos of my brother to his family if he didn't pay her. After my brother didn't fall for that threat, she told him she was actually underage and if he didn't pay, she'd report him for child pornography and blast his name as a pedophile. My brother didn't respond and called the police, who told him to delete her on the app and that it was a scam. He did what the cops told him but that did not stop her from sending the photos to friends/family on my brothers Facebook (they sent to a bunch of random people, included our mother who has been dead for over 10 years). I was able to get screenshots of the chat, including the threats. I then reported the chat, their account, and blocked them from my own account. This chat was also hidden under a "Spam" folder in Facebook Messenger.

I attempted to locate her Facebook again to provide the link but I was unable to find it. However, I found a bunch of Facebook accounts under the name Melissa Wilison. They all say they live in either ID or WA, and all say they work at Walmart. All the accounts are pretty new and the comments are very fishy. Here are a few of them:

I also saw a news article from WI, regarding a 17 year old who committed suicide after the same type of scam. https://www.ironmountaindailynews.com/news/local-news/2022/03/sheriff-cybersexto... />
I have multiple screenshots of the chat and the Facebook account used. I am only able to attach 1 photo to this scam tracker report, so I have sent all the photos to [email protected].

The scammer started a conversation. Said he was an engineer from Florida. After a while he started to use endearing comments and wanted to meet me but he had to finish a job first. He said he had to have money to buy some equipment for the job because he lost his wallet and had no way to buy what he needed. He gave me an address to send the money to. He was very insistent about getting the money. He wanted to call me so I gave him my phone number. He did call me and from his voice and accent I could tell he was maybe 20 years old and from a foreign country (Africa). He created a fake identity on Facebook.
