Fake charity event / donation required to present business proposal Reports & Reviews (1)

Someone from this company contacted my employee, they said they were interested in using us to construct a solar system for their hotels and for a new “solar” community, however, in order to see if we were able to take on a project of this level a payment of $300,000 was to be donated to their charity through PayPal. When we said no they said they demanded $7500 so that we could be allowed to present our proposal to them. They lied about putting together a multi billion dollar charity gala by the name “Angel Gala”. Said we had to attend the event in order to win the bid. The day before the gala they said they canceled the event due to weather. Come to find out the event never occurred. When we told them we were no longer interested in their project they demanded we give them names and numbers of companies we partnered up with so they could contact them. They never sent any sort of information in regards to the development projects they were doing. The person who answers the phone as Samuel Berthram sounds not like an older gentleman but rather young.
