The company verified that they have received multiple call is just one day regarding this company filing false claims for patients.

No idea how they chose the patients that they billed the service under.

This business charged Medicare $11,940, or $1990 a month from June 30th to November 29th of last year for catheters that I never ordered. I would have no use for them. This is clearly a case of Medicare fraud.

I received an electronic notice on 1/30/2024 for Medicare and saw multiple charges from G I Ortho, Inc. for “intermittent catheters”. No clue what they were, so I looked up the company and several complaints showed up immediately for the same items that no one received. There were multiple charges on my statement starting June 8, 2023 thru November 9, 2023 for the total amount that Medicare approved of $11,160. Also received a mailed copy of my supplemental insurance showing the same charges. Medicare was contacted immediately and they started a fraud report.

This business obtained and used my private Medicare and supplement insurance information without my knowledge or permission to bill Medicare and my supplemental insurance fraudulently for services and equipment never provided. I never had and contact or knowledge of this company until I received an EOB from my insurance informing me of the Claim and Medicare's payment of 5.845.52 to this fraudulent company. They billed for urinary catheter supplies and services which I have never needed nor received. Searching on-line, I see 86 complaints in 3 weeks time from other people reported the same fraudulent billing of Medicare and illegal obtaining and using private health information.

G&i Ortho Supply, Inc billed Medicare using my medicare number on 3 separate occasions 7/10/2023, 8/9/2023 and 9/8/2023 each occurrence charging Medicare $1990.00 for 200 intermittent urinary catheters for a total of $5970.00. Thankfully Medicare denied payment for these bogus charges and the matter was referred to the Medicare Fraud unit.

I received a letter in the mail that was actually addressed to ******* and I ortho supply Inc. My name was nowhere on the envelope however, someone had written hand written 3XX on the envelope which is part of my address. When I open the envelope, it was a letter from my secondary insurance company, requesting medical records for me, and stating that the billed amount was $3980. The letter also had a policy and a claim number as well as a date of service. The ladder indicates that if met my medical records could not be provided to my supplementary insurance company within 30 days that the company would be responsible for returning the money. Per this letter it sounds like Medicare and my supplemental insurance company also paid for a product or service that I did not receive , this is fraud. I just got the letter in the mail and I plan to contact my insurance companies and try to figure out what is going on and find out why or how my information was stolen. The most interesting thing about this is that although the envelope did not disclose anything about me my address, however the letter showed up in my mailbox. I plan on contacting my post office and getting more information.

I received a statement from Medicare on October, 26, 2023. There was paperwork on two claims. One was valid, it was from my primary care doctor for services received. The second was from the company listed in this form. I tried calling the number and it doesn't even ring through. The complaint I was able to read on this site is from a town approximately 45 miles from me. I am concerned that the Harris Hospital System in Sylva, NC may have been hacked as my primary doctor, as well as other offices I have used within the same system. The total for the two claims was $3980.00. Medicare did not pay the claim, hopefully they know this is a bogus company.

I went online to check my Medicare account. I do this periodically instead of waiting for the paper version in the mail. One morning, I opened my account to see that Medicare had been charged $2,985.00 for urinary catheters. Medicare paid $1,800.09 and the balance was submitted to my Medicare Supplemental Insurance. I don't use urinary catheters and I didn't receive any catheters. I notified Medicare immediately and let them know that this was a fraudulent claim. I also alerted United Healthcare in time and they refused to pay the balance. In addition, I reported this to the United States Dept. of Health and Human Services. I suggest that everyone with access to a computer check Medicare claims regularly on line. I do every day. I have also been been charged for Covid tests that were not ordered or received. I have a new Medicare number now since I believe these fraudsters exchange information and Medicare numbers.
