I received a text message that is fake. This is what they sent to me:

"–Your package has arrived at distribution center NX14O9, but we are unable to deliver it due to incorrect information provided by the sender. Ref #:***** –Please verify your address information in this link– ********"

My brother got a text notification from venmo saying he had just made a $99.99 payment to paxful. He has no idea who they are, but researching we found they are in india and somehow hacked his venmo account. He has already sent a request for help to venmo customer service. This happened today 11-22,

-23. A quich search on google showed this is a common scam that is affecting alot of americans. Their company says they are a bitcoin wallet company. The payment was requested at 5:52am. Venmo will likely refund the money but we wanted to make ScamPulse.com aware of this issue
