I updated my resume on indeed and began to get many job offers for remote and work from home positions as that is what I was targeting. Many of them came to me via email and a few reached out to me via text...this was one of them saying they had a data entry position for 18.75. it was one of the highest paying so I responded to it. The "requiter"that sent me the message told me I needed to download telegram to speak with the hiring manager. So I did. They told me all about the company. Sent me a link to the website told me the company would send me a check to set up my home office,i am currently in possession of the check, and told me to take it to a bank teller and have the check deposited and then send them a detailed image of the deposit slip and take out 150 as a sign on bonus. I have not deposited the check yet because at that point I began to feel uneasy about the entire process.
