The scammer posed as a friend of the family by using her messenger account. I thought it was her because she asked about my family and personal life. When I asked if we could video chat, the scammer said her phone was at AT &T for repair and was coming back next week. She, the hacker, said a friend received $90,000, but all she could afford was $500 and she got $50,000 delivered to her doorstep. She gave me the cell # of an Agent Amanda who was with the Family Support Program. When I texted Agent Amanda, she responded at 2:30 in the morning with a blank application. We filled it out, and then said they’d verify the information. We were notified we were Winners, and would need to pick our award: $500 for $50,000 all the way up to $5,000 fee to receive $500,000. When I checked back with my friend on messenger there was no response. Thankfully we googled the grant program and found info on scams, and didn’t send one red cent. We were angry and upset though. Please don’t fall for this government scam. They’re bad manipulative people who lie to get what they want.
