I think they changed their alias to "alcatrazcoons.com". All of the above was said to me with same pics and videos. My red flag was after I requested a vet reference he or she became agitated. Then I looked into it.

6/22/21 Got same pictures of the cats listed above under then name Flex Maine C o o n s. Stopped responding when I asked them about who they were registered with. They actually offered to do the payment through zelle (that almost got me)

Thanks"

"Thanks for the reply.
Attached to this email are updated photos of Xenon.
I will like you to answer some questions.

-what kind of house do you live in? do you have enough space for
the kitten to play ?

-Does anyone smoke tobacco products inside your home?

-Who else lives in your home?

-Is someone home during the day? what a about weekends ?

If you have to move or need to travel, what will you do with your cat?

What are your feelings about declawing?

If you are no longer able to care for your cat/kitten due to failing
health, living arrangements, etc. what plans would you have for the
cat/kitten?

Sorry about the many questions. We just want to make sure we get the best homes
for the kittens, where they would be spoiled to rotten. We are
doing everything possible to maintain the purity and quality of our
bloodlines.
Thanks"

I found him on the pinterest.
On the email, he sent me the exact same cat photos to me and told me to transfer
Money( $6600.00)
I checked on the CFA cattery listing, they didn’t exist. So, I asked him for an explanation, cause he told me that his kittens are CFA registered.
He disappeared, and here I am.

I almost fell for this scam. I was searching for a different cattery with a very similar name and accidentally ended up on this scam site. Similar to the above stories but I didn't end up giving a deposit because I had a weird feeling ... it felt like he was pushy about payment (in the second e-mail). So I went back to do some additional research and found this thread.

He almost got me thanks to all here I thank you for ur post same pic of cat telling me the kittens was 12 weeks and a post from November making the over 20 weeks

I was given the same information as all of you. I was timid but then they sent a contract and a “photo” on demand. How do we get them shut down? I got my kids al excited and paid through Zelle. What awful people

Thank you. Almost got me.

Possible scam! I reached out to fancy Maine [censored] on Friday 11/20/2020 and inquired about Jason and I was told that he was sold but they had another male named Moscow. I have gotten pictures and a video of a gray smoke kitten born on 8/28/2020 (almost 3 months).

Then I reached out via a different phone number to inquire about a kitten just to see what they would do. I got pictures of the same kitten but in one of the pictures there is another kitten when I asked about that one they said it was reserved.

So the kittens name I reserved on Fri for $500 is named Moscow and the one i asked about today (11/24/2020) was Horus. So are they selling the same cat or are they being honest?

I honestly don't know what to do at this point. So far they only have $500 and they said I could pay the rest after the kitten is picked up from them in AZ.

I honestly can't remember but the guys name was Chi Krarev

What zelle email address did they give you?

Ouch, they got me too. 1100 for ZION. everything seemed great lots of communication and contracts, documentation. I even got a video of the kitten.

then a day before the ship date they asked for travel insurance another 350 cash deposit that they would refund at the gate. I was like who is going to hand me 350 cash at the gate? I told them I had insurance for the kitten already paid and gave them the info.. they repeated the same request for insurance and I started digging and found these reviews... (facepalm)... I asked for my money back and have been ghosted ever since. I am on the phone with my bank since I used Zelle.. they are filing a fraud claim. They asked for the phone number (661) 293-7978 nchong Monroe is the name of the person.

website is fancymainecoons.com

Did your bank refund you?

They only told me they have one kitten available and he's not on the website. Was Zion the kitten listed or a Gray Smoke?

I was looking online for a Maine [censored] kitten and found this website called fancymainecoons.com well I looked at the pictures of the kittens and fell in love with Azriel. We chose her. When they got ahold of us through email they said the price for her was going to be $850 for the kitten and $250 for shipping, so a total of $1,100. I told them I will pay $600 and then when I receive her I will pay the rest. I sent the money through western union and then they sent me a video of her through email. I got screenshots of the video as pictures. They then asked for an extra $450 for pet insurance I did not pay it. But as soon as I asked for my money back they completely stopped responding to me and I’ve lost $600.

Hey a good friend of mine was scammed so as a programmer I hunted down all their real info so you all can contact them and ask for your money back!

I have left all their real information here; please call them and ask for your money back!

Same thing happened to my friend she paid the money and never got a kitten they are scam artist DON’T BUY KITTEN from them! They sell the same kitten to multiple people and then send them videos of their new cat. Your kitten will never come I don’t think they even have kittens at all the images are sourced from around the web!

I had the same experience as all of you. I just can't understand how they are still scamming hard working folks since 2019. I was scammed 2,580. Bank wouldn't do anything to help reveal who they are. They do have 4 other sites and with all the digging I did I was told that it looks like they live in upper Virginia. All sites are still up, how's this possible?

Picked out Nala as our kitten of choice for my husband for our wedding anniversary and found this site. Answered their questions about what kind of home we lived in, who was in the home and paid them the full amount of $1100 over a period of 3 days through zelle. Was sent flight information and shortly after they sent an email asking if I'd gotten an email from the pet transport and that due to COVID-19 the kitten needed an insurance scheme to fly and it would cost an extra $780. So I sent that over. Then my friend found this site and I called my bank and filed the transactions I had sent to 2 different people for fraud and will hopefully be getting my money back in 10 days. Please call your bank for fraud!

They contact you asking about your home because they want to make sure the kitten goes to a suitable home, send videos after the deposits are sent. I sent mine to Corey initially and then to Devin. They ask you to screenshot the payment once sent. I asked them for another video because my son loved watching Nala and they said they could send pictures and they ended up being screenshots from the video they initially sent. I pushed for a new video and have not heard back to this day. Total of $1100 wasted.

Sad experience as well. We went thru a series of emails. They sent us videos and pictures. They told us all about the cats being Bulgarian and having all documents and shots up to date. They asked us about our home and few more things to make sure the cat was going to a safe place. They sent us a contract to sign for the purchase. After that they sent us their info to pay them 1100.00 thru Zelle (online transfer). 850 for the cat and 250 for airfare transportation. They requested a screen shot of the transfer once it was completed. They go by the name of fancy maine [censored], (616) area code phone number, even though they were never available for a phone call and their physical address at 4302 e 6th st, Tucson AZ 85711. The person’s name was Corey Jackson and the email is [email protected]
Long story short... they are a scam. Too bad they just depleted my little girl’s savings since she was buying the cat for herself with her own little saving.

Did you ever get your cat or your money back?

i just sent a deposit now i am scared

- Des Moines, IA, USA

I was quoted a price to have the cat flown from Los Angeles to Des Moines. $850 for the cat and another $250 to have the cat flown to me. They would send the airline info after money was received. Had to send cash either by Zelle or Apple Pay. Sent money by Apple Pay. They would not provide me a phone number to use with Apple Pay. Instead they indicated that they did not have a phone number tied to the account and that we needed to use their email address. After money was deposited they sent the flight details the following day. Then the day after that I was told that the airline cleared the cat to be fit enough to fly but the crate they were going to ship him in was not approved. We were given the option to send them another $780 to rent an electronic/climate controlled crate from the airline which would be refunded to me once the cat was picked up from the baggage area or could purchase one for $1100. This sounded funny to me. Why would I get refunded the money when they are wanting me to send the money to them and they pay for the crate. They would get refunded- not me. When I told them that we already paid the agreed upon price and that they needed to pay to rent the crate or they just needed to refund me my money they stopped emailing me. So now I am out my money and don’t have a cat either. Can’t fight the charges as I used my debit card (as this was my only option due to Zelle and Apple Pay) and willing paid them the amount of money to begin with.

I've ordered pets online before no issues actually 4 times before. So I wasn't as careful as I should have been. They asked that I send the money through Zelle or Apple Pay and that should have alerted me to start. I've since found several sites that I believe the same person/people might be using. I purchased a Maine [censored] Kitten for 1100.00 it was an odd transaction but I've had weirder animal purchases before. So I wasn't overly concerned. Until in the end I got this feeling I might not be getting the kitten. I had my 17 year old son inquire about getting the same kitten it's name is Zeus on the web page he is 11 weeks old.

Was is this website? https://fancymainecoons.com/

- Charlotte, NC, USA

This is a supposed Maine [censored] Cattery, they offer Kittens for much lower prices than anyone online, they say they are from Bulgaria, they will ask you question about your house and family, everything to make you think they are for real, then the next thing is they say the payment can only be done via Money Gram money transfer, even asked if i knew any close to my house! This was after a long exchange of emails, than i told them i would pay cash upon picking up the kittens, they never responded back...
