Federal Government Bank Reports & Reviews (1)

I received a call Friday, February 3, 2017 @2:20pm from a man who said he worked for the government federal bank and I was selected to receive grant money that was left over from 2016. He went on with a lot of BS, but eventually wanted my bank debit card number or credit card number so he could put $9000.00 on it and additional $9000.00 on the 3rd

Of March, 2017

I knew it was a scam immediately because I know the government doesn't call you to give out money and if by some weird chance they did it would be in the form of a government issued check. Also I highly doubt if they were sending you a check they would call. The IRS doesn't call to let you know you will be receiving a return.

What has me very concerned is this is about the 3rd or 4th phone call I received in the last month with this type of scam. The also have asked for my mom who passed away recently.

Another concern my home computer got a "Zeus virus" when I was attempting to do a financial transaction. I was told this type of virus tells you to call an 800# where the scammer tricks you into buying bogus software to remove the Zeus virus. I was also told the Zeus virus can also have spyware attached and a third party obtains access to your financial and identity information, I did not call the 800#, nor did I try to remove the Zeus virus myself. Because I have been extremely busy I just shut the computer down.

I have been online job hunting and have gotten 2 scam invitations through my e-mail to participate in an "online video interview". I have declined both of these, well just ignored them. I did go for an interview in person this past week that was very strange but can not decide if it was a scam interview or not.

All of these things, happening so recently together have me very concerned. As I mentioned my mom passed away recently and I have inheriting a small amount of money. Most of it has already been distributed from her trust and used for bills, but there's a small amount I should be receiving shortly and do not want this to be intercepted by some scamming creep.

With all that being said I believe it is highly unlikely this is all a coincidence.
