Federal Grant Support Reports & Reviews (2)

I was told of this Federal Grant Support program by a lifelong friend. I clicked the link she sent me on "Messenger." I honestly didn't look at it. It brought me to a MESSENGER Profile of ***** ******* I introduced myself and she replied back. There was back and forth between us then she sent me this simple "QUESTIONNAIRE" to which I answered. (*No bank information OR SS# was asked for or given.) After this was sent back by me, she said it needed to be put into a database for approval and she would be back to me. While I was waiting, this just all seemed too good to be true, and as it usually is, and after a GOOGLE SEARCH, it was. I found out everything I needed to know in that it is indeed a SCAM. I got back in touch with my friend and tried telling her she'd be scammed, and she's telling me that she hasn't, that she paid the "clearance and delivery fees" and her $50k arrived via FedEx with no problems. I further tried explaining to her that if she REALLY applied for a Federal Grant, she'd have to fill out a big application, submit documents and it wouldn't just be a simple "name, address, monthly income, employment status" questionnaire. She still refuses to believe me. All I know is that this address ABOVE doesn't indicate the Federal Government in it at all.

I received a message through Facebook messaging from someone who I'm suppose to know. I'm not sure if it's really her or someone pretending to be her. I asked her to call me and she said her phone is broken and should be receiving another one soon. The message began with her asking me if I have heard about the Federal Grant Support. I said no. She said she received $50,000 just by applying for this grant. She gave me a link to a woman who ID herself as Linda McClure. When I click the link, the woman asked for name, telephone, address, DOB. she also wanted to know why you need the grant. She then said "wait while I process your app thru our data base". She responded by saying "Congradulations you qualified". She then sent information that I would need to claim the check. She also sent a long list of different grant amounts to choose, with the amount you need to pay, a so called clearance fee, to received your grant money. Once I saw that I would have to pay money to receive money, I began to realize this is probably fraud. Everything is rushed and made no sense. To bad I didn't realize that before I gave her that information. I had to remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
