The letter they send looks legit but it sounded too good to be true. I figured it was a scam but what tipped me off was the bold "Final Notice" at the top of the letter. At the bottom on very small print it says "FFS is not affiliated with the government or any of its programs. " I hope this helps someone before they become their victim.

Hi I was crammed by this company. I can’t believe how stupid I was to be fooled by these people. I did agree and singed a document to pay $899. Unfortunately I gave them all my info and my routing and checking account numbers. Fortunately I didn’t submit any of the signed loan paperwork. Emailed them to. Or process anything. All the forms have wrong information on them. I hope that none of my loans will be consolidated and plan to call my loan provider tomorrow as well as the Dept. of Education. Does anyone know how I can get out of paying the $899? Would you also advise to change my bank account number? Should I stop the payment from the bank? I don’t want this company coming after me for not paying my fee, and I definitely don’t want it negatively affecting my credit report. Any help is much appreciated!

Received “Final Notice” in the mail for student loan forgiveness and consolidation. I called and was asked a lot of personal questions and was asked to login to my FSA account to access student loan information. When I had trouble logging in, “Kayla” from Fenix suggested a very specific password (Password1), staying that it was “an easy one to remember.” After getting some of my personal information, she transferred me to “Luis” who stated that a consolidation of my loans could occur but a “closing cost” was required and it could be paid in one installment or three payments. When I told him I had already had my loans consolidated as much as possible, he lied to me about FedLoan and ***, and similar companies and used President Trump’s law reform of student loans as a way to get me to consider their services. It was suggested that I contact FedLoan and ask for a “promissary note” for the loan forgiveness program I am already enrolled in, and when I spoke with “Amber” at FedLoan, she highly suggested that I research this company, as it sounded like a scam. I did my reaserch and found that it indeed was a scam, and reviewed customer complaints in ScamPulse.com (this company is rated “F”). Please look into this scam, as they are dishonest and just trying to get people’s credit card info for the “closing costs”- which aren’t necessary for student loan consolidation (it’s free).

This company is a SCAM!! They send out a notice that claims it's the "final notice" so that they can consolidate your loans when in fact I had never received any prior notice. Government Websites are listed all over this notice to make you believe that they are in fact working through the US Dept of Education and US Government.. They rope you into giving them all your personal information so that they can "consolidate your student loans.." You give them your email and they access your FSA ID and make your reset your password to get in through the site which then allows them to access and view all of your loan information. They access your loans and make you believe that they are working with the US Dept of Education so that you believe that are legit..They try to charge you a $799 "processing" fee to consolidate your loans when in fact this service is FREE through the US Dept of Education. I called the US Dept of Education, my current loan servicer, and my attorney, and all three of them highly recommended for me to take immediate action against this company and that they are in fact a SCAM just trying to take my money. If you are trying to consolidate your student loans, call the US dept of Education directly and they will connect you with a loan support service that is accredited by them. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM LIKE I DID!! DO NOT GIVE FENNIX FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION AND DO NOT LET THEY TAKE ANY OF YOUR MONEY!! I have contacted the FTC, the US Dept of Ed., and the ScamPulse.com to report this company for fraudulent activity. Thankfully I was able to take plausible measure's and cancel my cards and alert the credit bureau's of all of this before any transactions took place.. Now that my information has been compromised I will have to keep close watch on all my accounts and personal information. DO NOT LET THEM PLAY YOU FOR A FOOL!!

Pretty sure this place is trying to scam unassuming people who want student debt relief. I called the number on an offer I received in the mail and spoke with Rosemary, a woman who began to get frustrated when I was not interested in taking a lower interest rate for debt consolidation. I was skeptical about the legitimacy of the loan consolidation she offered for a few reasons: She threw around numbers that did not match my actual loan amount, she had to transfer me to people who sounded like they might be working from their homes, nobody could answer my question when I asked why a private company would want to buy up my debt--and the one who tried to answer it said the Dept of Education wants to offer me debt relief. That was the dead giveaway. Trump's government offering student debt relief? Ha.
