received letter in mail informing me I had been selected as "A Top Doc" in Michigan. I received a follow up phone call, requesting information about my practice, degree, medical field, focus of my practice etc.

I was then offered several options for publicity, at different prices ( even though I kept getting told there was no charge/fee for this program).

I selected a single plaque and also notation in their upcoming publication which is placed in patient waiting rooms. I requested the basic offer at $407.95 I even informed them, I was not looking for exposure as my practice is now closed.

I have since then received several other calls, each time "confirming" my above request, with the "next step" in what they are going to do next. There is no discussion about a future charge.

I have since then received 2 additional plaques, which I DID NOT REQUEST.

I contacted them today, to ask why I was being sent these. I got a follow up call from their accounting department.

She (Tina Hayes), first informed me they do not keep credit cards on file, but then proceeded to tell me that I had been billed 1st $512.33, and then $615.83 following each subsequent phone call.

I informed her that I was never told about any billing, I did not provide any new credit card numbers, and that I did not request any new items/features.

I have just spoken to the supervisor Denise Hayes, who insists that her staff would have told me in detail about the services being offered. I explained, I was told about the services, but never any new charge. She is refunding me $300 for the magazine, and refusing to refund anything else as "the services have already been provided", even though I was never told about a specific fee for a "new service".

They use semantics to confuse medical professionals.

This organization is scamming physicians. They present their organization as legitimate, call to "confirm" a prior order, and then bill. As you can see the charges rise each time.

I have told them, I paid out $407.95 willingly, but was charged the latter two, and expect a refund.

I would like some assistance with getting back my $1128.16.

Thank you.
