First American Suites and Consumer Protection Bureau Reports & Reviews (1)

the Consumer Protection Bureau called saying my aged mother in law had won $750,000 from a company called First American Suites from Reno, NV. They said they had checked out First American and it was legitimate. The man who called said they were a Federal agency and everything was on the up and up. I asked about some details. He said they would deliver a check with a W30 tax form and they would require an advance payment of $60,000. We told them that was a scam and he said it was legitimate, that First American was approved by the Better Business Bureau and he told First America no one would pay $60,000 up front. He said they agreed to 1% ($7500) and that fee would increase if we did not respond today. I looked up First American on ScamPulse.com and could not find it. He gave me a Federal claim number which I cannot verify. He also gave me his Badge number.
