Golden Midwest Group Brokers Reports & Reviews (1)

I was contacted by Mr. Jay Miller from Golden Midwest Group Brokers who stated that he had a buyer for my vacation club. Apparently, the "purchaser" offered to pay $28,750 for the 15 years remaining on my vacation club contract. After sending me a preliminary Purchase Offer via email, Mr. Miller again contacted me and we had a further discussion about fees. We would have to send a transfer fee of $4,000 to someone. Mr. Miller was not clear about who that was but assured me it wasn't him. I said just take it out of the proceeds from the sale, but was told this couldnt happen because there is no deed being transferred. That does not make sense. This transfer fee had to be paid up front by me before the sale would be finalized. The Purchase Offer did not state anything about a transfer fee.
