I was searching for a transmission online. I went to this site and put in that I was looking for a transmission for 2011 Chrysler Town and Country. I put in my email to be contacted by whatever companies had the transmission. The first email that I received was from Henry’s Auto Parts and he said that he had a transmission for $450. I didn’t have that amount at the time so when I called back at the end of the month, he told me that it had been sold but he had two more in stock. One was $525 and the other on was $725. I chose the one for $525 and used four credit cards to pay for it on March 28th. Billy said that it would be inspected on March 29th and that it should be delivered on or before April 7th. He guaranteed a two year warranty if any issue arose. He said that it could be replaced or refunded. I was also told that there would be a $25 charge for a forklift if I didn’t have a commercial delivery address so I gave him the address to the shop where my vehicle is being repaired. I contacted him on March 30th and he said that the transmission would be shipped out on Friday, March 31st and he would call me on Monday with an exact delivery date. I hadn’t heard from him so I tried to contact him. Both contact numbers that I had for him weren’t working. At that point, I googled the business and called the number. The man that answered told me that I had been scammed. He said that he had received several calls about this person with different names.
