I was scamed out of 766.83

Wife booked hotel on line. We drove to Canada for vacation. Hotel told us the stay had beed cancelled by HOTELS FOR EVERYONE. We never got notice that our stay was cancelled. We drove three day to get to hotel. I called HOTELS FOR EVERYONE from the hotel and they hung up on me. The hotel had a concert that night and was booked up. The manager at the hotel {Grey Eagle Resort & Casino} said he had a cancellation and he could put us in that one. We paid , the first room, with credit card. We never have received a credit on our credit card as of today 8-7-2019. I have called our bank today and we will see what they can do.

Made a hotel reservation via AARP Travel Center and web site. Prepaid 810.50 in January, received confirmation by email. When checking in at the hotel in July, was told our reservation was cancelled by Hotels for Everyone. Fortunately a room was available. Unfortunately we had to pay again. All numbers provided have a voice mail message that we’ve contacted them outside of business hours.

I booked a room through the company, paid for it and received a confirmation email. 3 days before the night we booked the room I received an email from the company saying they are going out of business and my room as been canceled. I never received my refund and our trip was ruined.

I booked a hotel room through “hotels for everyone” the hotel never received payment so I had to pay twice, I tried calling customer service but they said business has close and to seek reimbursement through my credit card

We booked our hotel reservation months in advance through HotelsForEveryone.com. Our credit card was promptly charged and we received an email confirmation. Now that we are less than two weeks away from our vacation we searched for the original email confirmation. However, it magically disappeared from our email. We thought it was strange that we hadn't received any reservation reminders. So we backtracked and checked our bank statement for the charge. Sure enough, we were indeed charged by HotelsForEveryone. We went to their website which is working and still selling hotel reservations. We found their phone number and called. We were flabbergasted when we heard the recorded message which states that they have closed their business and reservations may have been canceled. Fortunately, we recalled the name of the hotel we had a reservation with and called them directly. At that point, they were able to confirm that HotelsForEveryone had canceled our reservation and never bothered to inform us or refund us! The hotel informed us that HotelsForEveryone, along with several other companies, is owned by the parent company Hotel Beds, and this is quite typical of them and their affiliates. Could you even imagine driving 20+ hours with two babies in a car only to arrive at your hotel which you reserved many months in advance only to be told that your reservation was canceled and they were sold out? Do not use this company or any affiliated company!

I booked a room on April 23/19 in Vancouver BC through Hotels For Everyone via Trivago. Immediately knew something was wrong when Canadian price $180 got charged in USD $240. I called that day to the hotel who said I had no reservation, and therefore no cancellation charge, and proceeded to cancel through Hotels For Everyone procedure, which says I should have a refund within 10 days. I then called my credit card company to give them a heads up that something not right about this transaction. They advised to wait and contact them if no refund. I waited the 10 days and called Hotels for Everyone who said they were processing my refund. Then this weekend I get a going out of business email and to contact my credit card company, which I have done and they have been great. This is a scam. Plain and simple. They took the money, made no reservation and gone out of business. Through my experience and by reading other accounts on this site, it appears they were collecting money without making any reservations.

I booked a hotel through this website and then had to cancel the reservation. Hotels For Everyone will not refund my money. They told me the hotel needed to issue the refund, but the hotel sent me written confirmation that they had never charged anyone for the room. I forwarded that written confirmation to Hotels for Everyone, and then Hotels for Everyone stopped responded to my emails and never issued the refund.
