I sent my Kobold watch to I.M. LLC, PO Box 382, Monroe, CT for repair. The watch has a value of about $3,600. The proprietor, Michael Kobold, sent me an email saying he wanted $1,250 to repaid the watch. He acknowledged in an email that repaid would not start until I made the payment. I have declined to make the payment and requested the return of my watch. Kobold will not return my watch unless I make payment. That is a criminal and civil theft of property and extortion. I have since looked at reviews on-line and numerous complaints have been made against Michael Kobold alleging he is a scammer.
