I attempted to buy candy from someone on Instagram (I already reported them there) I gave them my shipping info and everything and the seller sent me a link to a shipping company I'd never heard of (I found out later this shipping company did not exist) and a tracking number. The days went by and I still hadn't received my package and the tracking number wasn't working so I contacted them and I received a message claiming the DEA had confiscated my package and that I would need to pay 500 dollars to them or I would face 5 years in prison. Obviously this is when I realized I had been scammed and started filing my reports
