Received multiple calls from NY number in one day. Finally answered the call and the person on the other end said they received my interest in joining this group. She asked me questions about my work experience, school, etc. Asked me why I wanted to be part of this organization.

She then said she wants me to join the group and that she would be sending me an email with a welcome packet and login credentials to a personalized website that they would build for me for networking purposes.

She then asked me for a credit card. I was a bit concerned at this point and told her I didn't have my card. She then pushed me and said that all professionals should have a credit card. I asked for a callback number and she wouldn't provide one but offered to go on hold. I then said that I think this is a scam and she disconnected the call.
