I got a call from “Regional Locating Agency,” from a woman. In the background I could hear her child crying. I thought that was odd. She gave me a phone number to call Jack’s and Eden and wouldn’t give me any other information. When I tried to inquire she said to call that number and hung up on me. I called “Jack and Eden” and she wouldn’t clarify or go into detail about this supposed account, that I have no recollection about. I do not have anything in collections so I knew this was a lie. She said they sent out a letter and that they were sending serving papers. I told her go ahead, I’ll be waiting. She wanted me to pay money for some random debt. Both the ladies sounded very official, with an American accent. They try to stay as vague as possible and get you to verify personal information that they should have if this was real. Beware of these scammers!
