I called the #800-209-0456 on TV channel KTTC-12 at Noon to get free information booklets about annuities. The first person answering says hello sounded like laughter and party in background with a poor recovery by the man. Later I asked his name, he said Edward. First question based on their criteria of, I was looking for a wealth builder packet or an investor's packet? How much money am I talking about >$100K or <$100K. I said less than. Do I have other investments too? As I got more concerned, he became agitated by me, then he asks my age? I asked him for Company name, location, and if he was a telemarketer? When he really forceable wanted me off the phone saying he couldn't help me, he had a meeting, etc... pressed one more time for another phone number. It was the 877-801-9858. He knew I wasn't a big fish but what he did was give me phone number of guy next to him. I called that number his name was Kenneth and I could tell there was hand signals going on in the room. Kenneth confirmed Edward is his collegue. I think they where in same room even though I asked for the company phone number they assured me they were. Both sounded like bad scammers!!! He yelled at me like he was the company JDMelburg Financial and talking more professional than the other guy... He too never got my address, this one asked my name. I should have given a fake first name. I bet I start receiving scam calls for investing next!!!
