I recently bought some reading glasses from the website TEMU. The cost for these glasses was $30 which was already taken out of my bank account. A few days later (still have not received the glasses) I received an email saying the package was being held up because I needed to pay $1.95 shipping. So I put in my debit card info so they would proceed with the glasses package. The next day, I checked my bank account and $138.85 had been taken out of my acct. and it listed the name and the phone number that took my money. It was JWINDSDETOXIFY and the phone number was listed also 855-379-8190. I immediately went to the bank and reported it and they immediately canceled my debit card and gave me a new one. Then they had me fill out a fraud report. They said they would either put the money back in my account or I would receive a letter why they didn't. I received a letter yesterday telling me they couldn't to anything because I entered my bank card info myself and I needed to go through the actual place that took my money to get it back. So I called the number that was listed. They didn't answer with a company name, just customer service. They saw where there was an account and they closed it for me. I asked what kind of company they were and they said my husband filled out an application for fitness....that NEVER happened. He is definately not a fitness person! So since they closed my acct. they thought they was done talking to me but I said I wasn't done talking and I wanted my money back. They told me they don't give money back. I told them I didn't like that and I would contact the ScamPulse.com if they didn't give it back. So she put me on hold for a minute then came back and said they would give me a full refund. They tried to put it back on the card that was canceled and it failed. They said I needed to contact the bank again. So I did. The bank told me they could still put the refund or a credit back on that same card then the bank would forward it to my account. So I called this Jwindsdetoxify place back and they repeatedly told me it failed and would not try it again. I kept telling them that the bank said they could put it through as a credit but they were not even listening to me. I tried to tell them 3 times so then they hung up on me. I know $138.85 probably isn't much but it is to me. And just so you know, I did receive the glasses I ordered a few days ago and they were fine. I don't think TEMU caused this but somehow this place (Jwindsdetoxify) got me and my husband's name.
