KNOREX-Mr. France Sulick and Ms. Jennifer Loh- Reports & Reviews (2)

Hi All,

Thank you for posting this up.

It is a scam/illegitimate offer which we are not associated with them at all.
We have posted up on our linkedin for this fraudsters a while ago.
https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6768443411138785280

Please DO NOT respond or divulge any personal information to that, it’s a scam.
They are impersonating us and we do not have such position and all of our job are already posted on https://knorex.com/careers

Our interview are never conducted that way and would be posted by our HR rather than any individuals.

This person, Jennifer and a Frank ... have been impersonating us to reach out to many people. We have tried to report to WhatsApp and Telegram but no action is taken yet by those platforms.

We have already filed reports to police, FBI and FTC though we haven't really see any action from any of the parties yet.

Knorex Team

The above mentioned individuals: France Sulick and Jennifer Loh (these are the names they used, I'm sure that, most likely, their real names are different) contacted me for an employment opportunity at a company named Knorex. They stated that they were looking for a copywriter.

First, I was contacted by Jennifer via a simple text message (enclosed with my report), and she introduced herself as a temporary recruiter at the above-mentioned company. She stated that she found my resume on Indeed, and that my education and qualifications match the copywriting position they are currently offering. I am in fact looking for something long-term now, so her proposal suited me perfectly. I inquired about details regarding this employment opportunity. She prompted me to contact Mr. France Sulick (the HR hiring manager according to her) via WhatsApp for more details. It seemed strange to me that they would want to conduct a job interview through a messenger, but I figured that this is their policy during these uncertain COVID times; I assumed they are just adhering to a no-physical contact way of interviewing candidates.

I contacted Mr. Sulick and he sent me two sets of interview questions: first set was about translations, not about copywriting. I asked why he would sent me a set of questions that are regarding a different position, not the one I was offered. He said that I should just proceed and I will find out later why I am asked that. The second set of questions was a general one about my personal job expectations for the position I am offered ( I'm enclosing screenshots). He then asked me to provide my full name, state, address and an email address, so they can put it in their system. It didn't really alarm me because these are standard questions employers usually ask.

After I was done with both sections, Mr. Sulick said that he would forward all my info to his supervisor for review and he'll get back to me the next day in regards to whether I was hired or not. When I logged into WhatsApp the following day, I inquired about my application status and he said that I was hired. That also didn't really alarm me as he said that they were hiring immediately and I had experience in the past when I was hired either on the spot or the next day. As far as working hours, he said that they are flexible, but I need to report to him every morning at 8 am. I wouldn't be able to report to him every morning as I have a part-time job some mornings where I am physically leaving the house and I am unavailable for a few hours. I needed to clarify this with him and tried calling him on the number listed on WhatsApp. I saw that he was online, but he didn't pick up the phone which I thought was very strange...I started feeling weird about this whole employment process and demanded that I needed to talk to him or his ASAP to discuss the situation about my working hours. He never replied to my message and never called back. My suspicions started growing, so I decided to contact the company directly on their website by filling out the online form. They responded the next day stating that the whole hiring thing is a scam... and that they knew about it, tried to report these people, but they also asked me to report them as well, so that their shenanigans would hopefully stop.

Please, look into my complaint and do everything in your power to stop these scammers in their faulty endeavours.

Thank you!

P.S. I've tried to send you more screenshots, but couldn't attach more than one file here. If you wanted more images, please, contact me and provide an email/other alternate resource I can use to send you more images.
